I?m really confused as to why this place only has a 4.2 rating (at time of this review). Thai food is my absolute favorite... cuisine & I think that this is the best Thai food I have had in all of California. We got the roti with peanut curry sauce,mango chicken fried rice, beef pad see ew, and Hor Mok. The roti was a beautiful appetizer & the curry sauce was slightly morerunny than anticipated but had a fantastic flavor nonetheless. I don?t think I?ve ever had mango fried rice & it was really goodbut the mango did not add much to the dish, in my opinion. The pad see ew had a wonderful flavor & I loved the amount of eggthey put in it. And finally wow the hor mok!!! I had never had this dish but I was very impressed by the banana leafpresentation and the flavor of the snapper & curry mousse was really good, especially over the fried rice. Unfortunately myacid reflux was acting a fool so I didn?t try any of the spicy dishes which I hear this place is known for but all of the abovewere not spicy but were extremely flavorful. I will definitely be coming back next time I?m in SF, and hopefully I?ll get to trythe coconut hotcakes if they?re still on the seasonal menu. This place is Michelin starred for a reason, try it!! We had a great meal here. It is small and you might have a wait, but staff was friendly and efficient and the food was... delicious. We especially enjoyed the Beef Salad, unique Chicken Satay Wraps and Pumpkin Curry. Read more

This branch of Marnee Thai has identical menu as the one of 9th/Irving. The staff take great care of maintaining low density and... hygiene indoor. The food was good here, but the 9th/Irving branch definitely serves more tastier version of Chan Pad Poo. Thisbranch made it a little bit on the spicier side which takes away the subtle complexity of this delicate crab-meat preparation. Read more

There is a reason Marnee is so iconic. There are dishes on the menu that I have only seen available in Thailand, never on U.S.... menus. Exquisite flavors. Blessed that multiple Sunset locals have brought me here to dine. It's the best. The staff aresweethearts. Read more
