Oz Pizza offers an interesting and delicious selection of thin, New York style pizza by the slice. I walked up to the counter... and there must have been a dozen different pizza trays - very impressive. I chose a veggie slice topped with a generous mix ofpeppers, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and feta. I've heard the margherita is fantastic too. I look forward to returningto try it! I went for a late lunch at 2pm on a Saturday, and found the atmosphere to be friendly and low-key. I took a seat ata table by a front window and enjoyed the people and dog-watching with my meal. It's a good place for solo dining, and I imagineit would be fun with a group. Well worth a visit either way. Read more

Good late night pizza on Castro. I got the fig/arugula/goat cheese slice which was a party and I liked! I usually go simple,... mushroom, cheese or pepperoni, and this was a nice surprise. I like that they're open past 10pm but the area starts gettingsketchy as it gets later. Read more

I was 100% planning on heading to Chinatown for dinner on this specific night, but it was my last night and when I searched for... exotic eats this place popped up. Reason being was their kangaroo and camel pizzas. I love trying wacky things that you can?tget anywhere else and this was right up my alley. Right after my workout I headed right over. The shop is located right in themiddle of the Castro area which for those who don?t know is the LGBTQ area of town and it?s quiet obvious when entering theareas. The shop was pretty low key and no crowd at all. They no longer carry the Kangaroo pizza but they do have Ostrich pizzawhich fit the mold for unique so I went with that and the camel. I personally favored the Ostrich pizza, but both were great. The pizza itself was good and the meats just added to it. For the two pizzas it rang me up $16 but honestly were pretty filling.Check in on Yelp and get a free soda. Overall pretty happy here, service wasn?t the friendliest, but looking past that point asthe offering is something you won?t get anywhere else. Read more

Oz Pizza fits right into this cute little neighborhood. It's a quick and easy place to grab a late night slice (albeit a bit... pricey) and if you?re an adventurous one they even have exotic toppings for you to try. On a side note, these exotic toppingsare perfect for pranking friends (what? you mean I ate alligator???). Yes. You sure did. If there?s any complaint on my endbesides the price, it?s the oiliness of each slice. Yea, I get that it?s a New York slice, but does it have to be dripping inoil when I pick it up? Read more
