Ahh, my review of Pizza Express... Ever since my first visit this has been one of my Go-To spots for a couple of slices in The... City. The staff is great and always there to meet my needs. Thank you guys, for a consistently good lunch/dinner break. Iapologize for putting my Lefty's review in the wrong spot. I'll leave it here for comic relief. I'll leave it to everyonereading to imagine for themselves... what is Lefty's and where are they? Worst delivery ever!! "Pizza Express"?? The pizza arrived after almost 3 hours! No option to cancel! Arrived as cold as ice.... Better to stay hungry then ordering from them. Read more

A Bernal Heights staple. My wife and I got pizza here all the time when we lived in SF. That was over 15 yrs ago. Took a family... trip this weekend and ordered a big pizza for the family. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Just like we remembered! So cheesy anddelicious. I might have cried a little, it was so tasty! Heaven in a cardboard box! I've been ordering pizza from this place for over 20 yrs , I'm sure it's gone through different owners and for the most part the... pizza has remained close to the original. Their pizza went from perfect to eh.. but the always fresh ingredients kept me loyal.I must say though , lately they have been consistently messing up orders and showing up super late for delivery. I've let itgo many times but this last time I ordered was a little too much . I placed an order around 12:45pm and was told it was going tobe 45min. Around 2:20 I call in and they tell me the driver had left a long while ago and to hold while they contacted him. Iwas put on hold for another five mins. The lady comes back and says the driver is 5 mins away. At this point my company isstarting to get a little bothered since we're all famished! We wait and wait and we decide it's time to go to McDonald's andcall it a day. On our way out the guy shows up, it is now close to 2:50 pm! Um... no . I'm not gonna have pizza jerky 2hrs oldand pay for it. What bothered me the most was that neither the driver nor the lady on the phone tried to make it right. Noapology , or explanation. They are 8 minutes away and took hours to deliver , really??? I'm over pizza express. Read more
