Sunday afternoon 230 pm ordered 3 chicken tenders, 2 thighs, 1lg rice beans. Small coleslaw, absolutely no rice in the beans,... chicken and beans almost ice cold, only decent thing was the slaw, I wondered why the place was so empty now I know, worst partis it was 29.00 for almost nothing and to make matters worse old & cold, lesson learned, no wonder health issues has closed themdown in the past. Not wanting to deal with bones I decided to get the #3 Nuggets 8pc Combo. After 5 pieces in I was wondering why it tasted like I... was biting into a ton of flour and little chicken...well...the photo will show the proof. Now I don't mind small pieces ofchicken, but I don't expect to taste a ton of flour unless I'm eating bread products...there shouldn't be so much flour aroundthese small pieces of chicken...after removing such a gross amount of breading I could finally taste the chicken seasoning andflavor I was expecting...please change this... Hot, flaky, delicious tender juicy chicken with wonderful Cajun spicy variations of dipping sauces, just the right amount. I got... a 20pc tender and it came with 6 sauces that was just the right amount and I dip pretty heavy. Atmosphere late night is a littlerowdy vibe, kinda young, several bar/ clubs within a couple blocks so pretty hip borderline pickup scene. Late night weekendnight it was pretty busy, maybe 10 people in line ahead of me, moved reasonably fast. No complaints. It's great and tasty, but honestly not very different from KFC at all. And I eat quite a lot of KFC, so when I tried Popeyes for... the first time, I was expecting something quite different to say the least. But again, it's really tasty so can't complain toomuch. The shrimps are a waste of money because they're super tiny and deep fried, so you feel more the fried batter then theshrimp itself. Biscuits are to die for though, almost as good as the Red Lobster ones. Read more

Walking in there was a long line which is normal at Popeyes, then the cashier got into a fight with a homeless man over $20... since the homeless man thought the food was over priced and started slamming on the table which was scary for all the customers.Then when it was my time to order, the cashier barely knew any English and had to call one of the guys in the back to get myorder right after arguing with me for 5 minutes. It took them a while to get the order done and almost gave me the wrong orderbefore I corrected them and waited another 5 mins. I never write reviews on google but pretty bad experience.
