Stumbled upon reception on the way from brunch! William kindly recommended us a latte (we got a vanilla chai latte which was so... good!) He was so helpful and open, and we chatted for a while. This place is fantastic! Marie served me some of the best rose I have ever had along with a mushroom and leek pie from the pye... guys. Flavors off the charts and I am picky! I'm not really sure what to say. I haven't eaten or drank here but I've come in a couple of times to check it out. Both times... has been a fairly negative experience from a customer service perspective. Once I was introduced to the space and then madeclear that above the stairs is not for cafe guests. The next time I came in and was interested in some of the wines, asked if Icould taste this very much unknown wine before committing to a glass, and was told "I'm sorry we don't do samples". I'm not sureif I'll try again. I want to like it, but so far they don't seem to want me to like it. Read more
