I have been to this place 3 times. I really love the taste of food, but each time it has taken a long time to get my meal. One... time it took them 26 minutes and 32 seconds (I timed it.) The second time, the rice was really under cooked. The personalservice was mix. One staff member on my first visit was very friendly & explained the menu. The last two visits, the staffmember was disengage & acted like I was bothering when I asked if my food was ready. Read more
Almost shameless, when they run out of chicken, they wouldn?t tell you rather just gave you less. $16 for like a few pieces of... chicken that can?t cover the veggies. We can?t take it back since the it?s closed. The staff in the store can?t be sloppier,frequent mistakes. Never go back to this place ! Such a shame! Read more
Ordered two orders of chicken and rice. It normally comes with one thigh and one breast. They asked us if we just wanted thigh... and so we said sure and didn't think to check the order. When we got home, was surprised to find they only gave us one thigh perorder at $16 per order instead of two thigh pieces. Shlepped all the way back to Stonestown because portions were tiny and theperson said yes you asked for thigh meat so we didn't include the breast meat. When trying to explain that we were given 30-50%the amount of meat that normally comes with the order, she said we get what we get and the kitchen decides and asked if wewanted purchase additional meat for $5. You mean the rest of our order that we have already paid for? They eventually gave usthe rest of our portions after pressing the issue but the issue was not handled well. Read more

I usually go to the rooster and rice either in the casserole or in the financial district. Because I was at stonestown I decided... to pick some up here. This was extremely disappointing. The chicken was so dry they actually had to use some of the broth toport on the chicken. The problem with what that is the broth is so salty that you can't actually even drink it. Then I orderedan extra side of chicken and they gave me this tiny little container that was a third full of chicken for $5. Usually at theother locations when I add extra chicken they add it to the bowl and not give me a tiny little container. Top of that thecontainer of food that I got had less food then what I normally get at the other locations too. I definitely won't come back tothis location. Read more
If you order online, make sure you check your order before leaving. I ordered a chicken rice and chicken porridge but didn?t... realize the porridge was missing till I got home. I called the store couple times but no one picked up. Read more
A place to go for chicken rice pick up or a quick meal. Located inside stone town galleria, busy traffic. Chicken is tender,... sauce is delicious - can taste the fresh garlic and ginger and sweet soy. Rice is fragrant and not heavy. Broth is wellbalanced too. Simple, contemporary design. 4 choices menu. Food was good. Tried the Marina and one of their specials, the pork entree with soft boiled eggs. Enjoyed the sauce and broth on... side, just right. Prices are "SF average"(as I like to say now), but portions are generous. Small bit of a wait, but they werejust opening for the day so it's understandable and the food was fresh, hence wait. Quite a line when I passed by again later inday, so consider ordering ahead or coming in early. One of the more healthy options in the mall, imo. Would come back again. Read more
