Spent an evening here with my team from work. We had a private room where food and sake seemed to flow endlessly. The karaoke... that was private and controlled by us so we each got to sing more than enough. Great spot for a birthday, promotion, or anyother celebration. The room had one glass wall, a giant table, and recessed seating and felt like a cozy nook but at the sametime felt like we were the stars of a show. Loved it! Read more

I’m so glad my friend brought me here. I cannot rave enough about the Hamachi Shots. I was quite happy to find they have happy... hour even on a Saturday. There’s so much more on the menu that I’d like to try. I will definitely look forward to comingagain next time I visit the Bay Area. Parking wasn’t too bad since it’s adjacent to a residential area. I liked it very much. Sushi and rolls are fresh, if the baked ones are doubly tastier. I recommend!

I love this place, I think it is a very good/fair deal for what you get. It has quality fish. The service can be slow... sometimes, but nothing outrageous. I really love the spicy scallop roll, simple, well made, and it’s delicious. They have agood variety of sake also. They have karaoke in the back, I am note sure if you need to make reservations for that. I also thinkthe quality it’s not the same when ordering delivery, so we always try to go there to eat. This place seems like a fun place to have dinner with friends but if you're looking for quality and delicious sushi, this place... is not it. The fish/seafood isn't fresh and the apps we ordered were disappointing in flavor and quality. If you're into rollsdrenched in sauces or food you can just munch on while drinking or karaoking then this might be the place for you! Overall, Iwon't be coming back. AMBIENCE This place is going for that fun and hip vibe where you can get the best Japanese food whilehaving lots of fun. P.S. You're not going to get the best Japanese food here. However, I can see how it would be fun though -have a wide food selection to choose from while karaoking or sit at a tatami dining table and enjoy your food swaying to coolmusic. It's also pretty dark and the overall atmosphere reminded me of being at a club. SERVICE They have paper menus where youjust check off what you want and then they'll put the order in. Happy Hour is from 4-6pm every day so there will be a HH menu, afood menu, and a drink menu. Multiple people were serving us and it was too much service haha. Someone would be hovering nearbyand anytime we emptied a plate they would come swooping in and reach over to clear it - it was a bit much. And then as we waitedfor more stuff someone else would ask if we were waiting for something else. Too much service = disruptive meal time. When thetable next to us cleared one of the workers came over to clean it and when they sprayed the table it the mist and smell flewover to our table - got on us and our food. Not cool. FOOD I think this place does better with entertainment (karaoke!) and notfood. - Nigiri: This is the wrong place to be eating raw fish because it is not fresh. Some pieces were so fishy and definitelyleft a bad taste in my mouth. All cuts of the Blue Fin Tuna here was also disappointing...how can any kind of toro be thatdisappointing? ???? - Spicy Tuna Taco: Very small. The wonton shell barely had any spicy tuna Read more

Good food on Clement St . Nice sake selection and a variety of different snacks in a very modern surrounding. The oysters were... clean and fresh. The hamchi kama was a bit overdone for its size. The tacos could’ve had a bit more tuna per the size of thewonton or maybe just fried in a different shape. Flavor was good though. The fried calamari and octopus wasn’t bad. Ahighlight was having it with Tabasco, which makes sense but saying it’s a highlight tells you a lot. Again the interior of thespace is very modern, it has a great ambiance. I’m a big sake fan and they do have fantastic selection. Cheers ???? Read more

A MUST Stop when in San Francisco. One of the best sushi places in California. This unassuming bistro delivers some of the... freshest and tastiest sushi this side of earth. They are as good or on par with some of the best in Japan. Look for the ownerRay and let him take on on a fantastic sushi voyage! Thank you! Read more
