Between the two of us, my six-year-old and I ate everything on our plates, two days in a row, an unusual feat for either of... us. We first went on a Sunday, I had the all-meat omelet and she had the French toast. There was a line of about 8 peopleoutside (and a few people inside) the front door when we arrived about 10 a.m. but it went quickly Our second visit, on aMonday, we walked up and there were people in front of us, but by the time we got to the "please wait to be seated" sign, therewas no one left in front of us and when they came back, they almost seated us instantly. I had "Al's special" but with baconinstead of corned beef hash and my daughter had French toast (again). She loved dipping the pancakes in the strawberry saucethat came with the French toast. The service was very quick, both for drinks and food. I hardly had enough time to take myusual pictures before the food was out. Paying with a phone required walking up to the register, but I prefer that over handingmy card over anyway. Read more

I ordered an omelette here for pickup and was actually quite excited by the amount of veggies they had. The part about using... liquid egg substitute or only egg whites is what caught my attention. I ordered the veggie omelette with some substitutions andask them to go light on the cheese as well. I was really hoping to sub out the hash browns and get a side salad instead but theydidn't have that option available. This was actually quite a disappointment because every other place I'm going to for branch isalways allowed a substitution for side salad. For my bread I picked the sourdough. The omelette itself was quite large, which Iwas really happy with. The cheese was not even a distributed though so it felt like it was barely there. I could definitely haveused more salt on the omelette. I don't think they added any. Overall a decent place. I would say just ask for salt on youreggs. Read more

Went in at 2:30pm for breakfast, to find out that breakfast ended at 2:pm. Expressed to one of our waiters that we really wanted... breakfast. He immediately went to the kitchen restaurant to ask one of the chefs and came back and said, ?that we could orderbreakfast.? The breakfast was delicious and staff was attentive and friendly. Not to mention, the restaurant inside is clean andfeels cozy. We will definitely come back again. Read more

Proper American dining experience. Serves everything in good portion sizes for breakfast. We've actually been multiple times 17... years apart. And it was exactly same experience everytime. Being consistent is hard. But Sears seems to manage. Great food andgreat service. If we're back in San Francisco we will return again. Read more

A wonderful American restaurant with great atmosphere! If you plan to have a nice dinner with fair price in the city centre,... this is the place you should go. The staff are friendly. The food comes very fast after ordering. I had New York steak and itwas amazing. However, I guess the best was fisherman?s platter. Don?t miss it when you come here. Read more

Wonderful local restaurant. Really nice feel to the place. The waiters were very accommodating, especially since our group was... so large. I think we had 21 people. The food was excellent and it was brought out in a timely manner. Read more

5/14/2022...First time visit. Interesting decor. Not busy. I think the server could have been a little more attentive as he... never checked on us to see how our meal was. But maybe he didn't need to as we almost inhaled our food. The lobster was a bittoo hot but overall very good. The mousse cake was very sweet. Overall this is a great place to experience some classic SF. Themenu is limited, but I feel everyone will find something they will enjoy. 5/15/2022... Update. Had breakfast. French toast wasgreat and lots of bacon for a side for a very good price. Corned beef hash was so so. Very busy and noisy. Read more

We visited Sears Fine Food on Christmas morning for breakfast and a had a good experience. The service was friendly and... efficient. We were seated downstairs quickly, our order was taken promptly, and our food arrived shortly after. We had theSwedish pancakes, eggs florentine with hash browns, fresh fruit, and coffee. The food tasted great and was fairly priced. It wasalso very convenient to find something so close to our hotel that was also open on a holiday. Read more
