Great burger and fries! I got the brisket bacon burger and large smash fries. The burger was excellent with well cooked patty,... good quality buns, and real bacon. The only part lacking was the brisket. Meat was there but it was tough and disappointing,would probably opt for a regular double next time. Fries are also delicious, fresh, and crispy. The seasoning they put on thesmash fries are subtle but add a lot of depth. Was the fries worth $5? I don?t really think so. I think that price needs to comedown a couple dollars. These burgers taste delicious. They are smashed juice hamburgers with delicious hash stack onion rings. I wish that there were... more in the Bay Area. The service is the opposite. It sucks... really slow. The location is not cheerful San Francisco, howeverit is very clean. In the end of the day , the food is so good that I will still go back for more. Read more

Very odd. We ordered 5 burgers and 2 of them weren't even what we ordered, and not like "I ordered a double and got a single". ... One burger was supposed to be a Truffle Mushroom double, and we were given a classic single, the other burger we received was adouble turkey burger and we didn't order any turkey burgers. My soda had no flavor, which leads me to believe no one ischecking the fountain syrup and customers are inadvertently paying for plain carbonated water. And we received a side of friedonions for some reason, no one ordered it though. The receipt reflects our order correctly, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I don't know, if you're into getting a bag of surprises I'm sure this place would be right up your alley. At least whatever youend up with tastes good. Read more
The burgers and fries are pretty tasty! The place is pretty clean and the vibes when I went, was great. The bathrooms where nice... and clean. Now the service has a really really great high and a really great Low. They missed up the order, but went above andbeyond to correct it just to still get it halfway wrong by overly archiving to correct the mistake ? turned a honest mistakeinto a great customer service experience although!!! And that?s honestly why I gave them a 4/5 if they wasn?t for the greatstaff, trying hard to correct everything it would have been a lower score. I appreciate tha customer service tonight. After trying Smashburger in another state, it was finally my turn to visit one here in California. It's a little pricey, but... fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the service. Read more
First visit to Smashburger. Good selection and food was fresh and tasty. Sweet potato fries were excellent. Minus one star for... the cost of two 'Fast food' meals (see pic). Not sure how West Coast residents survive on such high costs of gas, food, etc.Nice place to visit, but give me the Midwest for moderate prices. Read more
I got the smash burger and it was not so great. The fries taste good and rich as in the actual potato content, not too thinly... cut. The wings are good too. Overall, I recommend the fries and the wings, though the sauce is just regular sauce like we wouldsee at any restaurant. Would not recommend the burger though, the meat are just overly cooked that some parts were hard to bite Read more
