The food here was quite good but I wish the place was more discoverable for future patrons. The momos and butter chicken... especially were excellent. The interior is done fairly well, but service was uneven. Recommended you give this place a shot, Idoubt you would be disappointed with what you try. Read more

OMG! The food here is da bomb! It’s my favorite Indian restaurant in all of San Francisco! It’s kind of a hole in the wall... though. So if you want a great experience with fantastic food that the locals enjoy definitely check out Spice Of America! Read more

I ordered Mutter Paneer Makhani and it there was no makhani thickness in the curry! It was so watery almost as if they ran out... of the curry and added boiling hot water instead! This is not cool lol ???? Read more

The food's fine but they forget items in your order and don't refund them. I ordered directly from their website and picked it... up myself. They left out some things. You should unpack everything before you leave and make sure it's everything you ordered, because they won't trust you later. [edit] I appreciate the refund, but I flagged this within 2 hours on Doordash, and calledthe restaurant directly. Only after I started posting on Google Maps and Yelp did they actually refund my missing items. Read more

Nice presentation of food and the service, servers were extremely good. The food was good but lacked salt and spices. We tried... the thali and the butter chicken. The paneer was really good. Read more

"I think I have a new favorite Indian restaurant" -Me "There are no Indian restaurants after this one" - My partner. Food here... was unlike any Indian cuisine I've tasted. All the regular dishes but prepared in a way that can only be described assuperlative. They are the Michelangelo of flavor. Read more

Very interesting kind of Indian fusion place. We tried the kale and bhel which was basically pakoda but made of kale. I never... realized it was made of kale. We also tried Bombay chat which was pani puri + aloo tikki. Pani puri was okay, but the aloo tikkifelt too oily. We had chole masala as the entree, but it did not impress us. It felt like it was missing spices. Naan was good. Read more
