Favorite vietnamese spot in the sunset. Can't go wrong with any of the pho. If you have a cold, try ordering the chicken congee.... So yummy. In general, Vietnamese crispy noodles reminds me of Thai crispy rice noodle salads that look like a bird's nest. Sunflower... Garden's version of Vietnamese crispy seafood noodles $17 tastes as good as it looks. They use a crispier noodle than their Thaicounterpart. Sunflower Garden's chef put in the right amount of gravy and the dish was not too soggy. They are fine if you arein the area. I prefer the ones in San Jose much more. In terms of cleanliness, Sunflower Garden is superior to SJ Vietnameseestablishments. Well done crew at Sunflower Garden. Read more
They recently increased their prices by a significant amount. The bun bowl I had was $18….I believe it was $13... before…definitely not worth $24 with the tip included…wont be going back. They were friendly though. Read more
Food is so taste ???? We found a sea food pho in San Francisco that my mother approves of. Sunflower Rolls are so good as well.... Pretty cool little spot with a solid menu and a few great options. The pho is decent by SF standards, but nothing exceptional.... The vegetarian basil chicken and the tofu vermicelli bowl was really good, but the fried spring rolls were absolutelyincredible. Our food was ready fast and the people working there were really nice, especially for me picking it up 10 minutesbefore closing (oops). Read more
Good Vietnamese restaurant offering a great variety of dishes. We tried one of the soups and stir fried noodles are both were... really good. Portions are pretty big and we found that the plates had a good balance of protein/vegetables/noodles. I wouldrecommend if you like this kind of food, specially pho! Read more
A very good selection of quality Vietnamese food! As for "authentic," it's difficult to say since the entire staff seems to... speak Cantonese. This is good, however, for the large Chinese community living in the area who want tasty Vietnamesedishes. But no matter what ethnicity you are, give it a go! :) Read more
I appreciated that they offered rice plates all day. Most places only off them for lunch. The food was tasty. We'll be back.
