Visited SF in the week of Dreamforce. Seen this brand enough to finally give it a try before my flight home. Burgers and ice... cream are delicious. No reason to give less ?. Cons: - it's a very oil-dripping greasy type of burgers. It's comparable toGladiator in Canada. It's dripping messy, heart clogging greasy. But if that's your thing, go ahead, it tastes great. -Chocolate dip is hard and thick. Ice cream is not the creamy kind, but more the icy kind, kinda like TCBY. Not my cup of tea, Ihowever like the fact there is a junior version. - It's a bit slow, and not the nicest staff, but they could be burnt out fromthe sudden 40k visitor that week, right across the conference buildings. Great burgers, plenty of seating, okay fries. The burgers are perfectly cooked, juicy, and a good size. However, the fries... aren't really crispy, and my garlic fries were barely garlicky. You can get lettuce, red onion, jalapenos, grilled onions, andtomato for free. If you're frugal, you could probably make a salad with that. You can place an order at a kiosk, with a humancashier, or through a website. I also got a cookies and cream kid-size shake and it tasted exactly as expected, like vanilla icecream and Oreo cookies. There are two levels of seating if you'd like to dine in, but Yerba Buena Gardens is right outside ifyou'd like to sit and eat on a bench or some grass. Read more
Yum. If you're looking for a fast casual experience this is pretty solid. Note that the burgers and fries are on the greasy... side but tasty. Expect to pay $8-$11+ for a burger or their spicy chicken sandwich. I always get the garlic fries; they'recrispy, with garlic and cheese on top. Not too much for interior atmosphere but there's a good amount of seating and does getpretty busy. Read more
In the mood for a bite I checked Google Maps for some of the top rated spots near the convention Center, and Super Burger came... up toward the top of the list. In hindsight, for a burger, fries & beer with tip $35 was pretty hefty. After a short walk Ientered the quaint 2 story establishment and ordered from the settle service kiosk (yes, ordering via mobile was an option butas an out of owner seemed like top much work. I picked the Jalapenos Aged Cheddar fries, which was more like fries with a somegarlic and jalapeno on the side, and the SUPER BURGER + JACK + Bacon + Fried Organic Egg (cooked sunny side up) - it was goodbut boy was it messy with the yoke ???? To top things off, I really LOVE their home made pickles. I really enjoyed the fact theyhad draft beer on tap and picked the RACER 5 IPA, which was a great way to wash down the meal. Fries were cold and burger was over salted. Best to come during slightly busier timing otherwise the fries they serve would have... been sitting out for a while. Burger was well prepared but the grilled onions on top were just too salty. Very different fromthe last visit I ate here. Will try the brunch round the corner on market street the next time. The chicken sandwich was great with all the free toppings on it and the garlic fries tasted as good as they smelled, but the... banana milkshake was easily one of the best milkshakes (of any flavor) that I've ever had!! Read more
