This place has some seriously good Dan Dan Noodles. And you get a really sizable portion for the price! They also make a really... good Kung Pao Chicken, with a nice spice; they add a bunch of chilis for a Sichuan-style kick. Read more

My favorite restaurant for the past 5 years. Even order online has the amazing quality.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! I can't stop ordering the cumin beef or fish in chili oil. Lunch specials are great because they come... with 2 (tangy spicy) vegetable sides and hot and sour soup... if you are lucky the cucumbers will be one of the sides. Tonight Iam also enjoying the Dan Dan Noodles. The colder weather is intensifying my szechuan peppercorn addiction and I will be cominghere a lot this winter!!!!! Read more

Got the job done, the noodles were better than the dumplings. It was a little too gelatinous for me. Good recipes but average... ingredients Read more

We were a party of 4 and we were craving for Chinese food. It was our first time eating here and the menu looked good with... photos. The prices seemed reasonable for San Francisco. We enjoyed our dinner. The only caution is to make sure to payattention to whether the dish is spicy or not. I ordered the grilled fish pot and it came very spicy. I still ate the dishsince it was delicious. Read more

Friendly service. Lunch specials come with 2 vegetables and soup. The hot and sour soup was spicy hot to my taste.

Probably my favorite restaurant in San Francisco! Food is amazing when we order delivery and somehow even better when we go to... the restaurant in person! Get the Dan Dan noodles, Yi Bin noodles, Mapo Tofu and iron pot spicy potatoes for an amazingSzechuan experience. If you need something to cool down the spice the shredded potatoes with vinegar are excellent too. Read more

Went with a high expectation after reading good reviews for vegetarian food, but felt the taste was only average. Tried the... vegetable potstickers, Dan Dan noodles, Mapo Tofu. The tofu was extremely soft but didn't exactly feel as spicy as it was markedsuper spicy on the menu (note: my spice appetite is pretty good). Potstickers were good but the very popular noodles actuallyfelt undercooked and very chewy - but the host said that's how they're prepared so I guess it didn't fit my palette but can workfor others. Service was pretty friendly and ambience was casual. Read more
