A small eatery just off Market Street. I went here for a workday lunch. it seemed like a no frills kind of place but the amount... of Frank Sinatra being played will make you to imagine classical NYC. You order at the counter from a variety ofItalian-inspired dishes or you can choose a specific pasta to match with a choice of pasta sauce. Service was quick andefficient. The food embodied the "simple but elegant and tasty" Italian way. A worthy lunch spot on any work day. Read more

Cute little spot and the food is even better! The lady that works there is super nice as well. If I lived in San Francisco, it... would definitely a regular spot for me! I ordered the gnocchi with pesto and it was fresh and delicious. We also got anaffogato! If you love ice cream and espresso get it! Definitely make a stop here if your in the area! Read more

Food was okay, we walked 2 miles out of our way because we heard good things. What really annoyed us was that after we paid we... asked for a receipt and upon review there was SF Surcharge Employee benefits??? Please just tell us on the menu what the cost ofthe plate is and stop trying to hide up charges. Totally fine with paying a fair price for meals and service that supportsemployees having benefits. Not okay with deceptive menus and up-charges. Read more

We ordered the veggie lasagna and fettuccine Bolognese. Both were v good! The veggie lasagna had a lot of veggies in it - bell... peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots. The photo with the half eaten lasagna shows the inside. The fettuccine was very nice too, sauce had a good amount of meat even tho it was a bit salty. Both dishes came out hot, cooked on the spot. We had a really great dinner time after a long rainy day. The staff was really nice, the pasta and homemade desserts were really... delicious and affordable. Even better with a gluten free option! Immersed ourselves in Italy with Italian products to purchase.Definitely recommend this place in San Francisco! Read more

We heard good things about this place and so maybe our expectations were too high, but we not really impressed. We had gnocchi... with butter and sage sauce, and Taglaitelle with the pasticciata sauce (pictured). Sure, the noodles were homemade but neithermy husband or my meals were super flavorful. Read more

EXCELLENT!!! We came on the recommendation of friends and it did not disappoint. The bolognese sauce was the favorite but the... marinara was also delicious. The pasta was so tasty and perfectly cooked. The only regret was no room for dessert -which lookeddelicious. The restaurant felt more like a takeaway spot, but the food was incredible and would easily be twice the price in acozier location. Would definitely return and would highly recommend! Read more

I thought this was a pretty high end Italian place but it kind of gives off fast food vibes because their menu is super simple... and it's self serviced - order at counter, grab your own seats, etc. The pasta is great I'm sure and sauces are delicious, butI do wish that they would allow for a bit more customization. Seating here is not too limited in terms of seats and tables, butit'll probably be filled up and there's often a line especially during peak hours, but this is still a good spot to go with afriend for a hangout or catch-up. Enjoy! Read more
