TL:DR: 4 stars for food, 1 star for pest problem. I walked in here the other night with plans to order some food, but as I... started to use the self-service kiosk, I noticed a little critter crawling on the chair next to me. I have eaten here before andknow that their food is good, but now I'm uncertain if this cockroach came in from the outside or if this store has a legitimatepest problem. I decided to leave immediately and eat elsewhere as I can no longer trust this location given what I've seen. Ihope they are able to fix and investigate this. Read more

This place is great. Very friendly staff. I was in from out of town and placed order one day for pick up but ended up not being... able to pick it up They were very understanding and provided refund. The next day I was sure to go there and was very pleased.My two year old was with me and everyone there was very friendly to her. One of the employees even brought over some cookiebutter for her apples. Read more
Melt is delish and I recommend stopping by for good food and great customer service. Keyz, the server, went above and beyond to... make sure our food was up to our satisfaction and that we were well taken care of. I'm so glad we decided to stop at Melt for anawesome lunch. We had a great dining experience at The Melt Embarcadero location. The food was outstanding and the service was very good! The... French Fries with Melt seasoning were delicious. My family enjoyed their Mac-N-Cheesy, Mac Daddy, and Chopped Cobb Salad. Read more
Garlic fries were great. Mac and cheese was very good! Bacon bbq burger was good. The meat itself lacked flavor though.
Food came out hot. Perfectly crispy fries. The burgers are very greasy because they are fried. They do not flame grill their... burgers. The jalapeños in the cheeseburger added a slight kick to the tastebuds and not too overwhelming. My kids said theburger was too spicy. If you like fried burgers, then In-N-Out is a better choice over The Melt. Read more
Consistent quality of food. However, if you order the the grill cheese with tomatoes soup, the portion varies. Very good... burgers. UPDATE: Went there on 9-22 before 6:00pm to order food for the family. Didn't eat until later and my son finds a hairin his grill cheese sandwich. I went there (9-23) with the hair in the grill cheese sandwich the next day , as if that wasn'tbad , I received a negative and authoritative instructions on their correct procedure to follow when there is a hair in thefood. Makes me wonder if this happens frequently. She (female with glasses and in a very bad mood) tells me, " you are supposeto call into the store to let us know" . She even had the audacity to tell me, "it looks planted." I already explained tothem that it was late in the evening. Most restaurant staff would first be apologetic and replace it with another item. Inother words, be polite and tactful. This really left a bad taste in my mouth (pun not intended) since I typically received goodservice from this location. If my son didn't enjoy their grill cheese, I would find another business with competent, nicer andpolite people tp patronize. I guess it's true what they say, "good competent help is hard to find".
