Fantastic place for sushi. Both food and customer service were great. I wasn't hungry but I was with my girlfriends who wanted... to go eat. I went in saying, ill try from your plates to ordering extra plates. All the of rolls we ordered were delicious, butmy favorite was double sake. We had 2 of those for table. Very enjoyable meal at the small, but very busy restaurant. My daughter and I had miso soup, and shared a large plate of garlic... edamame and three beautifully prepared and delicious rolls. My husband ordered a grilled fish dish (Hamachi Kama) and a seafoodwith vegetables udon bowl. The two servers were good natured and clearly working hard to quickly serve everyone, including astream of people arriving to pick up to go orders. Great ambiance & friendly staff. Food was not only good presentation, portions, but tasted good. I appreciate that it isnt... overly salty or sweet compared to many places. A bit sad that we didn't get our lion king and instead got king kong which wasstill good.. Probably misheard our order so will be back next time to try it. Read more

This place was mediocre at best. They definitely have a labor shortage issue - there were no clean tables when we walked in and... the waitress just seemed like she didn’t want to be there (which I don’t blame her - it was Labor Day), but just dampenedthe experience. We got the bento boxes - the food was pretty average. It was definitely on the expensive side for the portionsthat we got. Got the omakase here which was very good. And the price was good too for an omakase. The variety was great and service was nice.... We also got two rolls the mount Fuji and I think the double hamachi roll. I liked them both, we asked the server forrecommendations on the rolls and just ordered what she recommended. The sashimi is good. The rolls were ok. Being from NJ and having that sort of expectation comparing a 5 star sushi restaurant... there to this resulted in the loss of a star. Otherwise good place to eat. Read more
