Great food, ambience, and service! I have been to Tropisueño a couple of times a few years ago and always remember having had... a good time. During my most recent visit, I ordered a red wine sangria, guacamole and chips, and mushroom empanadas upon therecommendation by them. Both the dishes were delectable and the sangria was amazing as well. The staff is super friendly andone feels welcomed at Tropisueño like it's a restaurant in a village you've been living in for years! Our server was very friendly and helpful! Made good suggestions and kept our waters full! They had vegetarian and vegan options... that were delicious! I had the tofu potato enchilada and a sauté veggie taco. The server had never tried the jackfruit and wasunsure if it was tasty so I didn’t try that one. We had raspberry margaritas which were tasty and didn’t even taste likealcohol with real bits of raspberry! The beans and rice were very tasty. Our food was delicious and our server was fantastic. We ate outside on their very clean and well kept patio. Overall the food... was well prepared and delicious. The rice was a VERY little bit dry and the black beans could've been seasoned a little more,but overall the beef barbacoa enchiladas I ate were great! The chips and salsa appetizer was very nice as well. The chips werewarm, light, and nicely salted. The three types of salsa they came with were equally light and flavorful. I wouldn't go so faras to say any of the flavors on my plate were bold, but everything came together to make for a well balanced and nicely executedmeal. Read more
Great food with big portions - the enchiladas fill up the entire , rather large , plate, and the burritos are the size of your... arm. The service is streamlined and wonderful as well. You start by going in and to the left you order. You are then given atable number stand , and you pay right after. After that , you are welcome to grab a table wherever and seat yourself. Chips andsalsa are given pretty much immediately, and things are brought out to your table as they are ready, no matter where you've sat.There is inside seating and a wonderful seating area outside that has many chairs at four person or two person tables. There's aglass wall that is the edge of the outside dining area , and plants are placed along the edge and around the canopy polls thatcreates a natural yet cozy feeling, and the music outside adds to the experience. When I was there , there was a light breezeoutside that wasn't disruptive but rather refreshing. While I am not an expert in Mexican food, I certainly recommend. Read more
Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Went there for a couples date night and had a wonderful time. Margs and chips... and salsa were a great way to kick things off. Cesar, our server, was fantastic and made tasty recommendations- like he couldread our minds. We ordered the Salmón en Hoja de Plátano, Camarones Tropisueño and a combo plate of a taco and enchilada.Highly recommend! Read more
Food and service were both fantastic. The waiter was quick and friendly. The margaritas are dangerously good. Ordered my steak... medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Rice and beans tasted average. Free chips and salsa was a great touch ???????? Read more
We enjoyed our lunch! The tacos, enchiladas, rice, and beans were all delicious. Staff are hardworking and we felt safe knowing... they consistently checked vaccination statues of their guests! It’s located in a nice area in Yerba Buena. We will definitelycome back here. Read more
Lunch is taqueria style and it says dinner is seated dining. I have a taco, enchilada and tamela combo with a guacamole... appetizer. Everything was quick and the food was great. They also have a decent tequila selection and from sitting at the barand observing, they hand/machine squeeze are all of their lime juice for Rita's etc Read more
