What a great spot in San Francisco! The happy hour is unbeatable and the quality of the fish is top notch. Highly recommend... getting the Chef’s Sashimi for happy hour and a hot carafe of sake. Read more

We really love the sushi here. Especially recommend the Black Sabbath roll. The waiters are also so fantastic and knowledgeable... when I have questions about their extensive sake menu. Read more

Frankly, it felt like a combination of overpriced and underdelivered. The oysters were very soft and virtually flavorless, the... sushi was "ok" at best, definitely not up to the standard of similar sushi focused restaurants in the bay. While the ambiance isnice and the sake & shochu menu is extensive, paying $80-100 per person for this food (incl. a shared bottle of sake) is in norelation to the actual food quality. Read more

We got salmon, spicy tuna and their black pepper special sushi. As my expectations were really high I can’t say that sushi’s... were great, it was okay. Salmon was tasty as well (portion is a little bit small though) I will come back to try differentthings, their ambiance is great! Read more

The sake was delicious. The food, meh. Paid $100 for a one person meal and unfortunately was not impressed. Did not even finish... the carpaccio. Read more

I'm actually really surprised that this place had a low rating - the place has an amazing happy hour! Super cheap and good... prices - I probably wouldn't come for the normal hours. Good: The service is quite fast with happy hour at 5:30 pm and we gotlike 3 rounds of different food. I thought the maki of the day was really worth it and the highball drinks were really tastytoo. I liked the sweet yummy roll too - probably the highlight since the sweet potato tasted really good in the tempura. Theyalso give you a free shot at the end of the meal! Bad: I didn't like the fried kama as much since it was pretty bland and friedbut I did like the first couple of bites. Overall I thought that this place was a steal for the happy hour prices and has anice ambiance for a friend catchup. Read more

This now one of our favorite spot in the city for Japanese sushi/sake etc. They have a very impressive collection of sake/souchu... (Japanese whisky), probably the largest I've seen in SF. They have knowledgeable and friendly staff, so it doesn't matter if youare new or super experience already with sake, they can find something that surprises you. Moreover, their sushi is so fresh anddelicious and goes so well with their drinks, that just make us want to come back again and again. The vibe is great with hipand trendy music, and the decor is very classy, artsy, and has an Asian elegance to it. Come see for yourself, I'm sure youwon't be disappointed. We will definitely go back and bring our friends along. Read more
