Reviews for Wasabi Bistro in San Francisco, CA
Such great value for all you can drink evenings and pretty yummy dishes too. Can get a little rowdy whenever there are groups,... feel bad for the staff. But a reliably great place to go to warm up, or cool down, with friends. Read more
I love their chicken and salmon teriyaki. Sushi is very good too.
Delicious food, went on pride weekend and even though it was very busy the service was good. I definitely recommend the honey... walnut shrimp soooo tasty!!! The sushi rolls were a bit smaller than I've seen but it was definitely good quality and I wouldcome back again if I was in the area. Read more
They packed my order so neatly and stapled the bag and covered it with a thank you sticker + gave me guava candies. The food is... delicious and at a very fair price and they?re open late too. Definitely going to become a regular you can tell they put so muchlove and care into your food. Read more

TL;DR: Very, very mediocre sushi but the $10 all-you-can-drink is worth it. I came by Wasabi intrigued by their $10 AYCD... special. Drinks and sushi? Count me in please! Unfortunately, not many dishes are as worth the price as the AYCD. The specialtysushi here runs about $14-$15 and they're so small. I did appreciate some of the dishes like the carpaccio and the hamachi Kamabut would not come here again for the rolls. Stick with the nigiri and other non-raw fish items. WHAT I ORDERED: 1. HamachiKama ($12.95): this takes 25 minutes to come out but very well worth the wait! The hamachi is cooked perfectly and pairs wellwith the citrus-y sauce. It's also a large appetizer and would feed 2-3 ppl easily! 2. X Roll ($14.50): it's so small for a$14.50 roll :( This is a hamachi/avocado roll topped with tuna and salmon. My SO didn't like the quality of the raw fish sayingit smelled kind of fishy. Otherwise, not worth the money 3. Unagi Roll ($7.50): another disappointment. There's barely anyunagi in the roll and was mostly rice and avocado. 4. Rainbow Carpaccio (8.95): a nice array of fish that was nicely sized. Iliked the yuzu wasabi sauce that's drizzled on top. It adds a nice touch. Read more
Love this place! Will get all you can drink next time. Great sushi!!
Fantastic sushi place in the heart of the Castro. I love this place because of the staff and the food is consistent. They're... also open till as late as midnight or 1am most of the time so that is super convenient. Affordable, lots of things to try out.Highly recommend the Castro roll & Yuzu Scallop Roll. Make reservations in advance if it's an option, as it gets anoverwhelming amount of people (can't recall if they make reservations or not). If you come as a group, they can only splitpayment to two cards. Bathroom located inside + bar counter seating for solos available. Read more
