Pretty good. Freshness, service, portions, and the ‘lunch special’ being a good value… checks all the right boxes. Be... aware that the outdoor patio is covered and humid/hot. Had an excellent sushi dinner here — prices are very fair and you definitely get your money’s worth! The fish is fresh, the... rolls are tasty, and the rice is good; neither too hard nor soft. The grilled eggplant, miso soup, and hot sake are good too,and all at a really great price point. Service was kind, efficient, and welcoming. All in all, a perfect place to get a quicksushi fix! This is honestly one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to in a while. It’s a small family owned spot where the food is made... with so much pride. We had the Shiro Maguro, Toro, Unagi, Scallops, the Tekka rolls. Everything was super delicious. Decent sushi spot in the Mission. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The fish is fresh, and we ordered a side of... eggplant that was beautifully cooked. I believe you can reserve the back area if you have a larger party. Otherwise, it's apretty narrow space. There is outdoor seating now as well. If you're craving sushi, it's a decent place to go! So listen, it’s a cheap(ish) local sushi eatery. That beings said, Pros - Dragon roll was yum (photo included covered in eel... and avocado), retro dark NYC vibe, smiling waiter who warned me I may not like the pickled radish and was overjoyed when itturned out I loved it, and egregiously comical spelling issues in the menu. Cons - the place don’t feel clean and the tablehad some persistent tacky sensation, sushi was generally just ok. If they could take the quality of the sushi up a tiny step Ithink this could be a go to neighborhood spot. Read more
