I’ll be honest, I came here with a date I was trying to impress. She was really excited about sushi, but when we got here... neither of us were very hungry. Don’t get me wrong, the food looks great, the kitchen is clean, the place is packed andthere’s lots of atmosphere. The truth is we’ve been into each other for a few years, and just never managed to get ittogether. So it seemed that we got a little distracted from ordering… The menu is simple, a QR code on the table and you cancheck out the photos and descriptions on your phone. We went for the edamame, Maguro and salmon five piece sashimi (they werecool to give us half-and-half Maguro and salmon), and the Spider roll. My date was eating the edamame with chopsticks. OK, isthis a test? Fortunately I figured out how to pop out the edamame from the shells and pick up each one with the chopsticks.Passed the test! And as for the sashimi, the Maguro especially was fabulous, the ginger was fresh, but the wasabi could’vebeen a lot hotter. I like to have my sinuses blown open. The Spider roll presentation was impressive, it was crunchy inside andthey even had wheat-free soy sauce for dipping. I was happy, and I even made my date laugh. All’s good in the world. If Iwas in a hurry, I probably would’ve been picky about the service. I mean really, did they only have a one server for theentire restaurant? As it was, I preferred being left alone to have fun talking and laughing. So, yup. 5 stars. Read more

Little gem on Mission. I swear food tastes better when it comes out of a hole in the wall. Lol I come here for lunch sometimes... and generally keep it very simple. A basic roll, miso soup, veggie gyoza. It's good every time and gets me through the rest ofmy work day. So, no complaints from me. Read more

A wholesome hidden sushi spot that might be overlooked at first glance. 4/5 items were delicious. This would be the perfect... place to unwind after a day at the office with a few rolls and tasty drinks. Read more

This unpretentious, small Japanese restaurant has become our Friday night go-to. It redecoration is more attractive, the food... still excellent . The food benefits, I think, from the relatively small size of this venue. The gyaza deserves special mention. Read more

Happy #HumpDay Y’all, #sushi always poppin at Zaoh. This is my go to spot whenever I want sushi during lunch time. My tip is... always ask for unagi sauce, because it makes any roll you eat (that isn’t already too saucy) taste extrabangin. ????Francisco Roll ????Rainbow Roll ????California Roll (a tribute to bae) To an amazing New Years ahead of us. Besafe and stay blessed. Thanks for joining me on my food journey. Read more

The food here was pretty good in my opinion. The ramen had a light broth that was still flavorful, but I didn’t quite enjoy... the broccoli or the texture of the noodles. The takoyaki was delicious and we ended up getting two orders of that. Gyoza wasalso good, and the sushi tasted very fresh. Read more
