angelous has the best california burritos in the bay area. thats all i feel qualified to comment on, because the california... burrito is the only thing i ever order here. not only do they have the best california burrito, angelous also has the bestorange sauce in the bay area. been a regular happy customer since 2010. my wife tells me the tacos and super burrito are goodhere also. Someone suggested that Angelou's was better than Chavez... Went just to do a personal test and I personally disagree. Chavez... still is on top of my list. Read more

Came here last friday with a friend and I was extremely impressed how attentive the employees were. really solid food to price... ratio, i got the chimichanga with carnitas and I ended up not being able to finish it. I was checked up on mid-eating to makesure everything was going well, which was extremely nice. Great service and extremely solid food, planning to go again when Ivisit san jose again. Read more

I normally love Angelou's, but not tonight. I give them maybe 1 star tonight and hope they win me back. I was the only customer... at the till and it took them 10 minutes to take my order. They were so busy with the online and pickup orders they couldn'thandle their walk-in customers. Okay, fine, they were busy. Food's still good, right? Wrong. I ordered a veggie super burrito. They forgot the beans and rice, the burrito was only cheese, sour cream, pico, and lettuce. Weak. If I hadn't taken my order togo, I'd have had them fix it. Instead, I sucked it up and decided to write a bad review even if I can't give them a poor starrating because of the previous good experiences I've had. Read more

Made a random order from top rated burrito joint. The moco?loco burrito and pastor super taco. 1st off, both were to my... liking and very good. Filling as well. Total cost; Was within 5 miles but round trip was about 12. Time was spent mosttrying to park. Have your phone. Fake a call if you have to. Or, talk to some of the local........ "eccentrics". Actual cashwas $20. Included a few bucks for tip. So in closing, great food, adventurous trip to, and not horrible price. Minus a starfor confusing location. Recommended? YES! Read more

Small restaurant in the center of downtown San Jose (not a plus) with five tables inside and a couple of tables outside. It's... right next to the southbound light rail tracks. They basically split the menu in half to go type burritos ("from the taqueria")and what they call "Mexican Favorites" or plated food such as Chimichangas, Tortas, Enchiladas, etc. They also serve frenchfries in their food. I would say the prices are more $$ than $. Read more

Good place to get your burrito fix. Been craving my usual burrito bowl and found that this place has an average price $10 plus... tax. It was good and got my craving fixed but wasn't the best I'd had. Also it's only around the block of my office so didn'thave to walk too far. It got busy during lunch so that's a good indicator that pricing and food is about average. Read more
