I?ve been coming to Boudin for years and never have i ever been treated so badly. The manager Amanda i think that was her name... treated me and my grandmother so bad. I had placed a pickup order through doordash to this restaurant which I never had problems with until today, upon arrival there... was multiple customers waiting for pickup orders as well as in line to order with just one person running the orders. The ladythat was preparing the orders made me question how people get jobs with zero to no customer service experience. Noticing theheap load of people waiting in the restaurant there wasn?t much hurry to attend these customers. After finally being noticed sheasked if I needed help, I let the person know I was expecting an order to which she checks and walks away to work on anotherorder. A minute later an order gets put down and after waiting for a while I decide to check the names of the orders that areright there and there it was. As though I would?ve just let it slide when I got home my order was completely wrong. I called thestore asking for options on what to do about my order to which they say they cant do anything about it and to contact doordash.So if your planning on ordering pick up to this restaurant, I would suggest not if you don?t want to deal with terrible serviceand waiting extra on the phone just to get a refund. Grilled cheese over cooked, bread hard and difficult to chew. First and last time trying this place. Had a decent flavor, just... unfortunate the sandwich arrived cold and hard as rock. Couldn't even get through the first half, it's like trying to chewleather. Very disappointing and a massive waste of money. Never again. Read more
Five of us went here after seeing a movie down the street. Our order was properly prepared, and our food was warm & tasty. It... was a gorgeous evening, so we chose to dine outside on the patio, where we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely dine at thisBoudin's location again. Read more
?? the clam chowder in a bread bowl and their sourdough ????. Sandwich creations changes every season so might not have your... favorites. This is where I first tried the fig, apple & gorgonzola sourdough sandwich. Super Yummy! The specialty shape breadsare crunchy outside and chewy soft inside. The wife and I are long time supporters of the Boudin SF restaurants. Of course the bread is always fresh and sometimes still... warm when served. The sandwiches are still very good. Not over the top like some of the other sandwich shops. The salads arelarge and usually more than one person can eat. I love the Cobb salad. I really loved the chicken BBQ salad but it is no longeravailable. The Boudin on Prospect Rd in San Jose is offering dine-in. We went today 3/15/21. Read more
Boudin is the best for sandwiches. The tuna melt and clam chowder are especially delicious. The employees here are very nice and... the service is quick. They also have a rewards program where you can get free bread which is amazing. I come here all the timeand have never had a bad experience. Read more
Tried the new summer salad BBQ chicken. Lots of meat, and a large severing. Love getting a free loaf of bread every month.
