Visited this place for early dinner. Tried the Hawaiian shrimp combo which was good. Great coconut taste in the bigger... shrimp. The salmon salad had really fresh salmon, melt-in-your-mouth type! However my friend the salad overall to be on thesweeter side and didn't really enjoy it. Will go back to try other items. Read more

The spicy Cajun salmon sandwich was flavorful but not as spicy as advertised, the meal came with plenty of french fries. The... fried calamari was enjoyable and cut in a way that made it a finger food. This establishment is located in a busy Plaza soparking may be a challenge, but worth it. Read more
I ordered from this place on doordash and it was amazing. It's hard to find a good fish and chips place since half penny closed.... I got the grilled shrimp with rice and street corn. My daughter got the grilled salmon with rice and fries. My toddler gotchicken tenders and fries. My mom and dad got fish and shrimp with fried and zucchini. I even got a grilled fish taco on theside. OK! LISTEN UP! YOU have to try this place! It's inexpensive, portion is large, and tastes amazing! I didn't believe my friend... when he said this place is soooo good but it actually is! I went with the tilapia with rice and beans plate and added a shrimp skewer topped with the garlic butter. I asked for extra... lemons because I love lemon , the strawberry mint juice was also very delicious. First time to eat there. I ordered the grilled chicken with garlic butter sauce with zucchini and paid $1.99 extra for street... corn. My plate came super cold ... seemed to be sitting there for some time. There was 5 of us and only my plate was cold. Itook it back and the workers all looked at each other and the 1 said... " she said it's cold." After some time, they remade theplate. It was warm but not hot... the grilled chicken was moist and the butter/garlic sauce was super good on it. The menu isnot a full menu like their website suggested, which was disappointing. The fish was crispy and hot. Thick pieces. The fries werecold and not enough...They gave Kale slaw eventhough we asked for no slaw and for the sides to be French fries only. Thezucchini was slightly grilled and hard chunks but tasty. The beans had no flavor. The fried shrimp was crispy and a littleovercooked but had good flavor. Overall, despite all the mistakes... we all decided it was good food. So great tacos! We ordered fish tacos and cajun shrimp tacos. Fish was pretty crunch and delicious. It was first time to visit... and we want to go there again to try another foods. These are reasonable prices, especially given the current inflation. I feellike California Fish Grill is seafood version of Mendocino.
