Honestly the most delicious chicken I've ever had. Others are really good but really only on the surface. Somehow pollo loco... makes sure their flavor isn't just skin deep. I would give this place 0 star if I could, if you like waiting for a long period of time for your food, you?ll love this place.... There were also other customers complaining about the wait time, one lady had to wait 15 minutes for two small mashed potatoes.I recalled her order being number 90 while orders 93,94, and etc were finished already. I?ve visited other el pollo places wherethe service is fast even though they?re busy and had a drive-thru. Speaking of which, this place doesn?t have a drive-thru soI?m not sure why the service is slower here. Finally, when my food was done, no one was there to handed out to me. My wouldwould be behind the counter sitting for more than 5 minutes and it wouldn?t even be warm anymore. This happened to everyoneelse also. El Pollo Locos version of Birria meat is sooo very disappointing!!! The birria meat tasted like old mushy microwaved roast beef... had no mexican flavors at all I wouldn?t even have guessed it was supposed to be Birria meat if you didn?t tell me. Consume alsodidn?t help at all with the flavor. The whole meal I got today was just straight flavorless I know el pollo loco is known fornot being authentic but this is ridiculous!!! We call ahead of time for our order and went for pick it up after 25 minutes! The lady took our order again by the cash... register again and show the crew in the back of the note she took over the phone! She was very polite and courteous withefficiency. Explained how the coupon works and walk us through! Food was very delicious, three sides also very fresh! Weenjoyed very much at home! We will come back for more for sure! Read more
