1 - Aesthetic (overall environment, food decoration, etc.): clean, fresh, soft music, really chill. Food decoration is okay, not... much to say for the hot pot. However, everthing is “to-go”. Appetizer, sides are in to-go box. Even worse, they give us thelids to use as places. Kinda “ehh”. So, I think half star is fair. 2 - Price: It’s debatable but I think it’s quite highcompared to other restaurants in the area. Google says it’s $ but I think it should be $$. Another half star. 3- Taste:Nothing stands out but good enough for me. We got the salted tofu, beef hot pot, miso soup pot, cucumber pineapple drink. 1star. 4 - Service: The waiter and waitress are nice but hasty, which not my type. To me, it’s kinda uncomfortable. If you don't have the time for the complicated usual hot pot, you can go here for a quick individual hot pot when you don't have... to think about a bunch of small dishes you want to order to put in the hot pot. Your individual hot pot come with pretty mucheverything in it already and you can eat it like a big bow of noodle soup or add more stuff as you wish, but that can be too bigof a bow for one person. It was kind of fun to eat here with my coworker. We can focus on conversation and casually eat ourlunch together. The hot pot isn't the best, a lot of imitation stuff (imitation crab, imitation fish ball, randomhotdog/sausage, ...) Not the usual hot pot when you dip fresh vegetables and meat but okay for the quick one and you have a bitof everything in there already. I bet you can do the traditional way here too but still the soup quality and meat are just okay. Read more
This is my second time here, the food was good. We ordered the Taiwanese hot soup! Compared to other Taiwanese hot soups I’ve... had in the past at different hotpot restaurants, the broth just wasn’t as fulfilling. Next time I come here, I’ll have totry different selection :) the service was quick and the waiter was nice. You order through a QR code and send the food to thekitchen! Well, the food is good but nothing stood out. I would've given this place atleast a 4 star if... 1.) They had better... spoons/broth laddles. They used black disposable spoons which were horrible for the spoon. 2.) Had more staff, it seemed likethey didn't have enough people working, only 2. So the management needs to get them some help. Their service was fine, but Ifelt bad for the people working. Didn't take a star because of this. Rated this 3 stars because of the spoon they used, whichmade my meal harder to enjoy. Read more
First time here! My party and I arrived around 8:30 pm on a Monday night, so not many people but busy enough to have the servers... walk through the dining floor consistently. The ambience is nice with the bright neon lights and mural paintings on the walls.Interesting idea that this restaurant has in ordering at the table with a QR code that links to their menu and a cart forinitial orders and additional items. I was confused and astonished about this system since I've never experienced it before! Asfor our order, we got popcorn chicken as our appetizer and Taiwanese hot soup. The appetizer was delicious, light, crispy, andflavorful. I still give the chicken a 10/10 despite it coming after the soup. (Would have been better to have at first to whetour appetite). The soup itself was great for a cold night, with plentiful toppings of vegetables, meat, and other toppings. Thebroth was not that salty. Enjoyed eating out again. They have 6-7 tables on a back patio. You use a QR code to order. Wasn’t sure how the kids would... like this preset hot pot. They loved the fried tofu and popcorn chicken. They shared the veggie hot pot and liked it all. Wegot the satay pot which was good too. We will definitely be coming back. Price wise it is half what we would spend at othercreate your own hot pot or all you can eat hot pot. We could come here more often. They have sweet tea in bags and the kidsloved it and it come with the meal. Tasted good and was a neat concept. Read more
