Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is inside the food court of Mitsuwa. It was once so popular that you had to line up for almost an hour... in order to get your ramen. It?s good that now it?s not as crazy after the pandemic. They used to give you free plastic cupsand water, but they don?t anymore. We like their spicy miso ramen. The medium size is still quite small, but good for us as aquick lunch. Read more

It's very good. Deep flavor, broth comes out piping hot; very creamy texture. Thick, heavy bowls that retain the heat as... well. The spicy miso broth was better than the special pork, but both were excellent. As always, be prepared to wait. We cameat 5pm when it was pretty slow and it was still about a 20 minute wait. This ramen shop is inside mitsua market. They have a variety of options in terms of ramen. There is always the option that they... ask: type of ramen, what size and if you want a side In terms of the taste, I personally think it's the best ramen in town. There are a bunch of ramen places that are "fancier" but there is something about this that is modest and humble. Depending onwhen you go, there might be a line. When I went, there wasn't a line so pick your poison. Between the bowl of ramen and theside, this place will fill you up Read more

Awesome place to get authentic ramen! I always came here whenever I?m in San Jose. The medium size ramen was enough for me since... the bone broth was very flavorful. Somehow there were more meat in the ramen than usual. I usually finished the noodles last andcouldn?t find any meat left. But this time there were more than 3 pieces of meat and good-sized too! The tables were few andthere were plexiglass or plastic barriers between tables. You can pay with credit cards or apple pay not just cash. Read more

Great ramen place. This place is inside a complex with Japanese grocery store, book store, desert places and few other eateries.... The ramen was tasty but the seating area was limited, given the long queue at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the spicy misoramen. Very flavorful and tasty. We had to wait around 35 minutes to get the food served. Unfortunately, it serves no vegetarianoptions. Read more

Pretty good, ordered the B combo with spicy Ramen. The Ramen has a good tooth, the soup is good, they give lots of toppings and... it comes nice and hot. It's only $1 more for the large. The ikura and sake don (salmon roe and salmon bowl) is good but they nowput it in a plastic clam shell instead of a proper bowl. I much prefer the bowl. Seating can be problematic if you come aroundlunch or dinner time. The combo costs about $21 which seems a little over-priced to me. Maybe next time I'll just get the Ramen. Read more

A popular Hokkaido ramen franchise that specializes in miso ramen. Would recommend getting a set with the spicy miso or regular... miso ramen. A large upgrade is barely a $1, so a great value if you're hungry. This is also one of the few ramen spots thatoffers natto as a side dish. Better than hotel restaurant natto, but not quite restaurant-tier yet. The only thing missing tocomplete the Hokkaido ramen experience is the lack of of a butter addon. Read more

Great ramen! I haven?t been here in a few years but it did not disappoint. Lines are quick and staff is helpful. Prices are not... bad either. We ordered the Soyu ramen large which was an okay size and a medium spicy miso ramen along with rice and salmondish. I would skip out on the rice dish though. It really wasn?t anything to rave about.
