Me and my wife were in town for a convention and wanted to find a place that was low key and offered wine. We stumbled upon this... place and glad we did. We had a few glasses of wine and ordered a cheese board. They had amazing snack options enough to allowyou enjoy you wine. Full disclosure i am friends with one of the owners. That said, it is a great wine and craft beer bar with excellent appetizers.... The wine and beer list changes every month and the sidewalk cafe atmosphere works very well. Friendly and attentive staff, andthe clientele is a good mix of young and old, regulars and walk-ups. We have never been to Hop & Vine and since they were having Blue live music so thought of checking it out !!! Thanks to all the... previous Yelp reviews we knew exactly where to park there are few parking spots in front of the restaurant or u can park on theopposite street near the Hester School there are ample free public parking here - that's where we parked & then just cross thestreet ( they have a pedestrian crossing signal here so it's safe to cross). Once we reached we saw the music setup was outsideso choose to sit outside since we wanted to listen to Blue music which me & my husband love listening to!!! We were promptlyseated by William & he served us nice cool bottle of water with glasses which we really appreciated given the warm weather weneeded it. We ordered some small bites - Jalapeño poppers & Buffalo Mozzarella stack along with couple of Beers to cool down.Food was good & went perfectly we didn't wanted anything heavy for dinner. We loved listening to great music provided by JohnRybak & John Hosking on upright bass while eating. I love listening to upright Bass that's one of my favoriteinstrument. Overall we had a lovely Saturday evening here ... we are definitely coming back here we loved the vibe here alllocals coming & chatting with each other & staff which was so good to see. Cute local wine bar. At first was turned off by the must sent when I entered but I got used to it. Enjoyed a nice glass of 2020... Opolo Viognier and the Cheese Board. Cozy atmosphere. Read more
