HORRIBLE!!! Tuna tasted like refrigerated water logged disgustingness. The tuna was cut in huge thick slices. It was just gross.... Never ever again! What a disappointment this place was once very authentic and had delicious traditional food. My familydecided to go to JT for my daughters bday dinner. (-) missing GINGER in sushi dish (ginger aids to cleanseyour taste palates in between different kinds of fish) (-) The teriyaki chicken was dried n lacked Sauce (-) Rice in the bowelwas 1/2 full. Efficient and friendly service. Had the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi. Nice promotions with more than enough plenty chicken. I found... the miso soup to be a tad too salty but was overall was very pleased with my lunch. Read more

Delicious sushi ???? ???? ???? Super fresh & enjoyed every bite! Customer service was above expectations. The owner, she was... the nicest & appreciative of our business. That made me feel good. Definitely another spot in my books ???? ???? Had thesee-through shrimp & spicy Hamachi roll... mmmmm delicious! They've got sake & beer but maybe another occasion. This is probably the worst restaurant I?ve been to, let alone ?Japanese? restaurant. Ordered a deplorable squid, the sashimi was... cut as thick as a ribeye, and the fried chicken was softer than a wet sponge. The rolls looked like they were made by a 12 yearold forced to make sushi as punishment. I wouldn?t wish this dining experience on my worst enemies. Read more

Finally tried Kazoo for the first time today. Walked in after 6pm on a Friday and got sat and greeted right away. There are many... rude and misleading reviews here claiming this place is "just sushi from the 90s" (as if the decades running a business inJapantown are bad?), and I'm ashamed it took me over a year to try this place because of them. Some said the place was "old" and"just okay". But the grilled eggplant with miso was equally delicious and well-presented. My husband got poke nachos, which is afairly modern dish (the chips were crispy wontons). Takoyaki was only $4.95 and our 3 rolls were $5.95 each, so it's difficultto guess where the "overpriced" reviews came from. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was great, and the prices weregood. I'll definitely be back soon! Read more
