I was gladly surprised. From outside, we had different expectations. The tuba melt was really good, and the pasta was fine. The... waiter was helpful, but not very engaging. There is parking nearby (90 min for free, iirc). Read more
Food was pretty good. I felt the lasagna was lacking a bit of flavor but still really enjoyable. Huge portion with the price to... go along with it. It's expensive! The ambiance is very retro. The classic is still open and doing a brisk business at least during my visit on a Wednesday evening. It had been over a decade... since my last stop at original Joe's and now dating back 50 plus years as a family favorite. Prices have gone up do not expect abargain meal but you don't feel cheated with the value and the size of the portions. Excellent service continues through thegenerations of staff. Prime rib was solid disregard many of the comments you might see here about gristle and poor quality therewas nothing wrong with this piece of meat. Read more
