You've got to have great service, ambience and food/ drink to be a successful restaurant in a high rent district like Santana... Row. Notice I didn't say great prices as you don't come to Santana Row for that. Ozumo did not disappoint. The drinkselection, service and food did not disappoint as the plating and the freshness of the seafood was excellent. How could you notorder 2 signature dishes as Hokkaido scallops and uni? Yes, the scallops were actually from Hokkaido and the slightly sweet,firm taste of the scallops was accentuated by the clean finish. The uni did not disappoint as the buttery, creamy taste justmelted in my mouth. There was a slightly briny after taste that was just delicious. I won't even begin to talk about the othersushi nor the excellent whisky flight that I had as the uni and scallops made my evening (company as well). Be forewarned andready for an expensive experience, after all someone has to keep the lights on at Santana Row. Read more
A good sushi option on Santana Row, but not worth the price point. We stopped by for a light meal while shopping and were... pleasantly surprised by the Wagyu tartar and kaarage. The sushi rolls were just ok. Service was friendly. If I'm craving sushiwhile shopping here again, I'd come back. Read more

The garlic edamame was so good. The AKA Dragon and crunchy dragon was not only pleasing by picture but very delicious. Lastly... the chocolate cake had a green filling. I couldn't really taste it since the chocolate was more overpowering, but regardless itwas great overall. Would come again! Read more
The covered patio is completely shaded, which is nice - however, it is right next to a hotel entrance, so expect a lot of nearby... foot traffic. The miso soup was probably the best miso soup I've had, and the seaweed salad was equally delicious. AgadashiTofu, Honcho Roll, and vegetarian rolls were all good. For larger-bodied people, I found the restaurant to be superaccommodating - the chairs were armless and wide, and felt very sturdy. The women's bathroom stall was also well designed sothat even the single stall felt spacious enough for those who need a little more room to maneuver. Read more
I've got extremely surprised! Best dumpling ever had in 50 years. The flavor is superb and unique! Even the chicken which is a... very common dish is unbelievable tasty. I hope I can come back soon! Read more
At the suggestion of my date, we went here for NYE and I'm glad we came here. Btw This was my first time here. I was very... impressed by the service and quality of food. For being such a busy time of the year, the food came out very quickly but in topnotch quality. I'm a big sushi fan, the sushi here is certainly top quality and worth investing for a solid memory. Their staffwas attentive and friendly. The tuna coma was my favorite of our whole dinner. It was simply next level and I'd highly recommendit! We were heading to another restaurant when we bumped into Ozumo. First time having dinner in Santana Row so we figured why not... try this. We started off with Wagyu Tarutaru, which was really yummy. I had high expectations when we ordered the ShachoMoriawase Chef’s Selection since I’ve had Chef’s choices at other places. It definitely did not live up to myexpectations. It tasted very bland. They were some good pieces but overall not what I was expecting & sadly not worth the price.We might have been better off ordering sushi rolls. The dessert semi made up for it. Can’t remember the full name but it was achocolate cake. The service was really fast! Cake & service were probably the only highlights. Read more
