Nice food. Friendly staffs. Fun experience! I got the hanger on the Rok. The Rok is their signature style where they serve... entrees on an extremely hot rock. I can then cut the entree into pieces and grill them on the rock. It was so much fun, and Iloved that I could control how well it was cooked. The sweet potato fries were delicious! Wagyu steak was like any other cut and mediocre at best. The mashed potato and broccoli tasted like food from a cheap buffet. If... you order sauteed mushroom with your steak it comes in a separate plate which is absolutely ridiculous. Mushroom did not comewith any sauce and I had to put it on my plate myself. Highly recommended. A unique experience having to cook your own steak on a 700°C volcanic rock to your liking. Try the Bison... Ribeye. Thank me after. And the waiter, Jose. What a guy! Very accommodating and made our day enjoyable. Read more

This was a great experience. My boys and I came to town for a 49ers game and were looking for a restaurant that wasn’t fast... food with some better dining options. We decided to go in and see how Rok worked. It was a busy night where it was clear weshould have had a reservation but we didn’t have one. The host said to hang out for a minute and he had us seated in less than5 mins, truly great service! The servers was great and very on top of everything, and making sure we knew how it worked. Theybring your steak out on a 750 degree rock and you cook the pieces you cut off yourself to your liking. My boys and I loved thefood and experience! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. We love this place, this is the second time we come here, the food is just delicious with a reasonable price! The steak is... fantastic, good quality beef with interesting way to cook it yourself on the volcanic stone! Fresh and tender, the sources aretasty! The crispy jalapeño Calamari is just wonderful! And the crème brûlée is a very good dessert! The service is nice andfriendly, we had Ivan as our guy and he is just cute and good at his job! We would love to come back again! Read more
Nice place for a weekday lunch because there was no wait for a table. Good portions. I had the regular burger with sweet potato... fries which was good. I would come back to try other things. Dinner looks good but they told me they are busier at dinner time. Read more
I went here pre Covid & my experience was much different. Today there was no explanation on how to cook on the lava rock to the... other guests that were in the party. We sat outside & felt forgotten. The baked potato said it was supposed to have sour creambutter & chives. There was only a small amount of sour cream. When we asked for butter they brought us frozen butter! Still nochives & no where near enough sour cream. Seems like since covid the service went out the window! When my food was brought tothe table the server asked if the plate was mine, meaning the cut?? She is the server she should know not me! She was very young& confused.
