Reviews for Stone Stew 1 in San Jose, CA
Nice persian restaurant. The dizi ( a traditional persian food) is tasty. My favorite is the dizi with sides. They have kebabs,... stews, zeresh polo (zafran rice) with chicken and more options. Sunday is Salsa night with live music. Read more
Very low portion, low quality and expensive! I ordered shishlik and barg and I believe both together was not even one complete... meal!. Meats had super bad smelling that we were not able to eat it! Won’t recommend here as a Persian restaurant P.S. I wishI could modify this review and give zero star to this restaurant as its manager is really rude! When I called this restaurantand complained about the food and mentioned that we put the food in trash due to bad smell, all she told me was “thanks forletting us know!” You deserve zero star as you don’t know how to behave with your customers! With such inflation in Bay Area, this place offered a good food and friendly service with reasonable price, plus the cozy... atmosphere and exotic decorations, we’ll definitely come back here again. Read more
Great Persian food. V good service. Sit outside under a large covered patio.
Some of the best Persian food I have ever had. We went on a Saturday night and did not have to wait to be seated. The food came... out within minutes. Great service! Read more
Good Persian food, with a nice outdoor space. The indoor was open but we didn’t use it because of Covid. The food was good and... their service was also good. It wasn’t the best Persian food I have had in the area but it worths trying! Their Barg Kabab wasbetter than their Koobideh. The owner also stopped by our table and was very kind. Read more
Came here for a quick lunch. Just by Looking at their menu, I had a feeling this would be an authentic tasting and I was not... wrong. I ordered 1 skewer Kobieeda (cheapest item) and it tasted very good. Now, it doesn't mean they are the best out there butthat was a nice experience, and I yet to try the rest of their offering. They have a big menu for different flavours; with thata higher price tags too. The prices honestly did make me hesitant and I was about to leave before falling on the Kobieeda.Customer service was good for the most part but not wonderful the truth is and was a bit slow. I definitely was hoping for acomplimentary tea which is standard in persian restaurants but I was in a rush so didn't have time anyhow. That's said, I'meager to try rest of their menu in the near future so this place will have an updated review next time I pass by and try rest ofthe items... Read more
I come here often with family and friends and the food has always been consistently good and freshly cooked. I like that the... bread is warm and toasty. Too bad they raised their prices. The waiters and waitresses are forgetful and take too long though. Ihad to ask for the bill 3x, water 2x…Otherwise, I give them 5 stars. Read more
