Came here without reading reviews, thinking it was a chill spot. Pictures give the old timey, speakeasy vibe. The lady bartender... was very nice and attentive, dude was dismissive at best. If you want a spot to chill with the homies, slide. Wouldn't expectto be able to hear them over the music, though. Good drinks, awesome music, friendly staff.
Nice place for anybody who doesn't mind loud music. Fun to dance. People were accepting of everyone else. Had a fun time! Not... easy to talk inside but they have an outside covered area to sit, drink, and talk. ???? Read more
The bartender was great. The other humans in the bar were clicky. Not an excellent place for newbies.
We are regulars. Drinks are good . Music good. Comedy night is good. Not going lie sometimes you do have to ask for a little... more liquor in your cocktail especially cause they are a bit pricey but the atmosphere is good. I like the mix of people allages. Found this place after searching for a bar with live entertainment for our time in San Jose. Made it just in time for the end of... comedy night that was very funny. Went back the next night for a night cap. Not too crowded, but you don?t feel your sittingalone. The fireplace is nice. Good selection of beers and liquors.
