The Counter is a delicious and filling burger joint to go get a bite to eat. They are in fact dog friendly and are accommodating... for dogs. Dogos can get their own cardboard water bowls and even puppy patties. Burgers are very filling and delicious to bootserved on a brioche bun. You cannot really go wrong with getting whatever burger speaks to you they are all very good. If you donot want a burger from the menu, you can even create your own burger to suit your cravings as well. Sides are orderedseparately or added to burgers. I recommend the half and half style of sides so you can mix and match. The shoe string fries andfried onion rings are where it's really at though. They also serve beers and cocktails. They have a wider selection ofcocktails than beers but still have all the standard beers and a few unique brews. We ordered two drinks, parmesan fries, a veggie burger and the grilled cheese sandwich. My drink (similar to a vodka tonic, but... I can't remember the name) was ok but Hubby's mango margarita (which I also wanted and he ordered) was delicious. The food wasgood but the nice, unexpected part was that we had asked for the burger to be cut in half and they brought out the half cutpieces on two separate plates with the balsamic sauces. Such a pleasant surprise. Sitting outside was comfortable with theheaters and there was a party on the roof of the hotel across the street that played Punjabi music - a bonus! There was anunexpected automatic service charge (mandatory tip). Obviously we were going to tip because the food and environment were goodand we enjoyed ourselves but I don't care for automatic charges like this, so minus a star. Read more
I love love any place that has delicious and healthy vegetarian options. Counter is my top choice for make your own burger - The... amount of customization you can add is endless. Truly, sky is the limit. Every ingredient is fresh, and you can tell is cleanlysourced. You can see the photo, how tasty that burger was. I am drooling while writing this review! Fun to order all the parts not then it's sometimes hard to pick it up because it's so full. Veggie burger is eh. They do have... Impossible burgers. Regular burgers are apparently excellent. At one time they had halibut burgers. I miss those. Read more

Ambient outdoor dining with a right vibe on a Friday night. Waiter was in hurry as the kitchen was about to close in 5 min.... Brussel sprouts were super oily and tasted okay. The Meltdown was bland and actually cold by the time we had a bite of it.Sprouted Veggie Burger tasted good but it?s on the drier side. Sweet potato fries were over-fried, they were more like chips,only could have because of the horseradish aioli. Overall not so great experience with the food. Best burger place in the town. They have a great menu as well as an option for ?build your own?. They have vegetarian and vegan... options too. The vegan patty is yum. Fresh ingredients and toppings. Totally worth trying. You can order online and pick up atrestaurant or do a curbside pick up too. Read more
Great experience with good food and thoughtful service. Sandwiches don't come with fries so we added a basket for the table at... server's suggestion and great call! Burgers are good, fries and onion rings are great, salads are delicious... A good spot toeat a quick meal! One of the few places around that is properly staffed as well! Read more
