Not a bad place to get a taste for Vietnamese food. I tried the Rice noodle bowl with stir fried tofu and crispy vegan egg roll.... Despite being vegan the egg roll was delicious, crispy, flavorful, and stuffed to bursting. I wish there was option just getthe egg roll on its own. The service was great and very understanding of all dietary restrictions and allergens. Took roughly15 minutes to prepare the order. However, the piece at 20$ a bowl is quite prohibitive for the volume and quality of foodprovided. Read more

I’ve walked by this place a few times. Today I saw what they were making for someone else & HAD to have it! So I asked them... to make me the same bowl with pork and noodles. It was fresh and delicious. Also not greasy like some of the nearby mostlyfried foods available. It’s not cheap. But they do a great job, are friendly, and helped me customize my meal. Read more

Fantastic food. It was very fresh and tasty. Great ambiance and the name is brilliant. Totally worth braving a mall (blech) to... grab a bite. Read more

I enjoy Banh Mi Vietnamese Chicken sandwiches. I love Pho Soup too. However, on a warm day, I was craving a heart crunchy... chicken Banh Mi. Sandwhich is healthy with veggies, semi sweet chicken with special spices adding Jalapenos and the specialsauce washed down with Diet Soda. Very well done. Read more

We had the noodles rice bowl here. The taste was good but overall it was 3/4th rice noodles and very less veggies and chicken.... Also egg rolls didn’t say pork and shrimp explicitly. I don’t eat pork normally so I was not happy about it. Read more

I would give this place a 0 star if I could. The food was borderline ok, but the price and attitude of the employees was pretty... horrible. I paid 15 dollars for a tiny bowl that didn’t have very much actual meat in it. When I picked it up, the papercontainer it was in appeared to be haphazardly shoved in the plastic bag and I could even see food spilling out. The employeeskind of just threw the box and the bag out without even so much as napkins or utensils and walked away. The employee wasn’tnecessarily rude, just didn’t seem to care whatsoever for the customer. Overall, food wasn’t very good, it was veryoverpriced, and the service sucked. Read more

Went to Vietnom’s at the SOFA market for a salad with double chicken and everything on it. I arrived back to my office to find... that the salad only contained chicken and cabbage. No pickled veggies, cucumbers, or any additional toppings. I asked for nopeanuts but everything else. Very disappointed to have spent 20$ on this meal. Read more

Vietnoms is located on the side aisle of the SoFA Market, which is a cute little food hall with plenty of seating for groups... (and a bar in the back!). I ordered the vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and lemongrass pork. The bowl comes with plentyof refreshing greens, pickled radish and carrot, and egg rolls. The meat had excellent flavor - great smokiness from the grill, and tanginess from good marination. The egg rolls were okay - a little stale, and possibly not as well fried as some other eggrolls I’ve had in the area. All in all it was a solid bowl, but I think it falls just short of the most OG places around SanJose, which is an admittedly high bar. Read more
