First time posting because such TERRIBLE service and food. Bread old and dry. Had to ask for a server to take our order (should... have known it was going to only get worse). Ordered Pasta Marinara. little bit below under my expectation. A Simple Marinara is Garlic, fresh tomato, oregano, and basil. I... don't think they cook garlic. And they did not cooked from order. Just pasta for sure. Feels like just mixed with sauce thatmade day before or same day. Is it too hard to takes time to cook garlic and tomato, then add some oregano and basil thentopping over the olive oils with pasta. Can be better with company effort.. Read more
Really good Italian restaurant. Everything was excellent. The calamari fritti were cooked perfectly and were tender. The clam... chowder was one of the best I've had. The veal Siciliana was recommended by the waiter and did not disappoint. The desserts weregreat. Our favorite was the bananas royal. Read more
My grandma and I came into town and our driver from the Fairfield inn recommended this restraunt. Boy! We where impressed!... Walking up we where greeted with the flower arrangement, which is taken care of so nicely. My grandma loved the display. We satout side and our service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly . Next the food was so delicious, we ate it all up and had thetremendous desert after. If ever visiting San Jose again I will make sure to come back to this restaurant. Read more

Vito’s is an old style Italian restaurant. What I appreciate most is getting the servers opinion and he doesn’t recommend... the most expensive item on the menu which happens more than I like. The portions are large so try not to go overboard on thebread before hand and you will have to bring an extra stomach if you want desert which is also very delicious. The prices are alittle higher than I like but when in San Jose, everything is expensive. I would definitely return again in the future. Read more
Good food. Tiramisu was not too good, thick chocolate on top like frosting with Hershey a syrup and thick whipped cream. White... sauce pasta was great. Baked eggplant was delicious. Caprese and green salad excellent. Read more
