Atmosphere is great. Food tastes like some diner off a desert highway. I had the seabass special. It was dry and tough and... hardly any flavor. Sides were bland as a church homecoming pot luck. My friend and I arrived here at 5:30pm on a Friday night and to our surprise were seated immediately on the patio. What a... classy, beautiful setting with old trees, ferns and flowers. We started with the Sesame Calamari with Jalapeño Tarter Sauce. Iorder Calamari whenever possible, and Cedar Creek's Calamari is completely different from anything I've tasted. Lightly Breaded,moist, sprinkled with cheese and black sesame seeds. Jalapeño Tarter Sauce is delightful! My friend had the Chicken PapayaSalad and I had the Cedar Creek Burger. A couple at the next table were enjoying the special of crab legs with veggies and letme take a picture. There was live music which added to the ambiance. A delightful meal. Read more
This is the first time ordering eggs benedict. It was good. I also ordered a side of avocados ????. I sat outside in the patio... area. The restaurant had a lot of umbrellas to protect you from the sun. My order came with a side of potato and cheese. Iwouldn't say I liked it. It had too much cheese in the potatoes, and the potato was very mushy. The other side was fresh fruit.That was very good. It had a delicious assortment of fruit. I did not see just "bacon and eggs" on the menu. This restaurantthinks outside the box when it comes to breakfast options. So, if that's what you're looking for, you are going to the rightplace. And last, the Men's bathroom was clean. P. S., The glass of water I had, was not filtered water. Because of the service,I did leave a nice tip. This is a great place to get some really good drinks and dessert! We started off the evening with their signature blood orange... margarita and potatoe skins. For dinner I had the cedar plank salmon and the fish was cooked perfectly although the glaze saucewas a bit sweet. For dessert we got the cheesecake and it is no joke, really good! The carmel sauce complemented perfectly. Thelive entertainment was excellent and made for a overall nice atmosphere. A really beautiful spot with a great patio. We came for lunch. I ordered the slow braised short ribs. The server was nice enough... to substitute the mashed potatoes for a double serving of vegetables. My cousins had the BLTA and the Strawberry Turkey Brie.Everything was delicious. Such a great restaurant! We had dinner before the SO-CAL bb tournament. The food was wonderfully delicious! Even our 22 yr old... son liked it ! He had the Jalapeño Jack Pasta and I had the special Parmesan crusted fish ! Sooooo good!!! Hubby had meat loafhe gets regularly here.
