A very posh place. We were there for a birthday party of 17. The scones, food and drinks were superb. We were seated only at... our given time and no sooner. Food is great but we had a LOT of issues with the service. First of all service is SLOOOOOW. We were there for 2 hours … which... I’m sure would have been 2.5 hours easily if we hadn’t told him that we needed to be out of there at a certain time. It wasa really long time to wait for service, especially when you have 2 little kids with you. The best restaurant experiences we’vehad with our kids are when the server acknowledges that we have little kids and expedites service accordingly… kids don’tlast very long for meals (even with devices). Our server rarely checked in, we had to ask for cream and sugar… my tea gotcold by the time it was given, the server left his server tray holder by our table almost the entire time we were there… wherehe used it to set food he was going to serve the other tables. Another issue we had was that the portions are LARGE. We wishthey would allow sharing a single service or cut portion sizes. The scones, while delicious, could be half the size and theycould still charge the same. I know high tea is supposed to be grand, but this was bordering obscene. And especially for thekids tea… a scone that big is just ridiculous (and a waste of food). Again, despite good food and cute decor, the overallexperience was not great for the price. Read more

Me and my girlfriend came we did make reservations a week prior and it’s recommended. We found free parking on the backside... and we just walked . The entire process is so cute ! Definitely come ???? dressed up and bring a cute hat ????! We waited forour table and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I bought my daughter a little pink unicorn ???? with a soft blanket and myfriend got an accessory for her hair ?? we sat down and our waitress was amazing ! We got the tea , the scorn they bring out isout of this world ????! With the jam ???????????????????????????????????????????????? I got the salmon and it was cooked great???????? The plate my friend got was also delicious ????! For dessert we got their famous bread pudding delicious ???? party inyour mouth dessert ????! Everything we got was 5 star ! The location ! The vibe ! Gorgeous tea house in a historic area! The staff was super friendly and the decorations were so cute. They made space for our... party of 2 on a Sunday which was so amazing. This is a lovely place for tea parties and/or just relaxing while sipping on whatever you fancy. Reservations are required and... there is a time limit of 2 hours per table, which is ample time to unwind. We opted to get the currant scones with raspberry jamand cream and it was delicious! I picked a white tea to complement the dessert while my husband went for a traditional blacktea. They come in teapots which are very authentic for tea parties! We were not disappointed with the choices. Server (andstaff) were super friendly and checked in at regular intervals. I can see this spot being a favorite for us and definitely willbe back with my friends and family. Lovely ambiance as it is outdoor seating and the location isn't very noisy.
