We ordered the spicy ramen and the volcano roll... plenty to share for two people! Based on the food it would be 5 stars, but... service was lacking. The servers couldn't answer many questions I asked and when we ordered drinks they made 3 trips for 2 beersand a water. The owner came to our table and spoke with us about the Restaurant and was able to answer all of our questions andgave us 2 of the passion teas to go. Food delicious but needs a little work on service! I will be back in a couple months to seeif they worked out the kinks. Props to the chef! Fully belly?? the owner made our visit also! Read more

Got spicy rainbow roll, it tasted worse than grocery store sushi. Tasted like its been sitting out for a long time. Fish looks... so sad and saggy. Hopefully I dont get sick. Read more

The California Roll is very good here, so is the passion fruit tea. We also had the dragon roll and the spicy tuna roll which... were to die for! Super friendly customer service and very clean. I can tell the owner takes pride in ownership. Read more

I ordered a hamachi nigiri, ramen, and a couple appetizers. I thought the nigiri was a good price and quality for the area. The... ramen could?ve been better, specifically the egg, but I could still eat the whole thing. The best part about the restaurant wasthe environment and service. The people there really accommodate for any changes you would like to make to your food. Read more

Considering that there?s only a few other ramen and sushi places in SLO, I?d definitely say it?s probably one of the better... spots. Kept it simple and got a California roll and tonkotsu ramen, with both really satisfied me. If your a huge foody and havehad top tier ramen (which I?ve had), don?t go in expecting perfection. It?s a family style restaurant and to have a hot bowl ofsoup & a sushi roll is nice on its own. Chef Sunny is also a super nice and friendly, plus the ambiance is pretty nice. Read more

Tried their spicy yuzu salmon poke with quinoa kale salad and miso dressing base. Overall it was okay, I would go back. It... wasn?t spicy, and there was way too much miso dressing, it out flavored the poke, even though there?s a good amount of salmon. Also, why add 2 types of onion and so much of both to this signature poke? It had both green onion and white onion, and so muchthat it overpowered the dish. I ended up pushing all the white onion to the side. For being one of their signature poke bowls,I would expect the ingredients and flavors to be well thought out. Next time I?ll just order a custom bowl. Read more
