We had a lovely time at the Apple Farm restaurant. The wait to get in was pretty short (despite us having 6 people). The food... was super filling and a good portion. Our service was so great (thanks Mary) and we loved meeting the baker, Paul, who gave usso much info about the items he had made that day. The pricing is comparable for the area. Read more

Quaint restaurant. Not our first time eating here. We have eaten here several times over 20 yrs ago...it was better back then.... That said however it wasn't necessarily a bad meal it was ok, just very greasy and expensive for what we got in terms ofquantity. Their housemade jam/fruit spread is absolutely amazing, my favorite part of the meal. They do not package it forselling in their bakery which is a disappointment. The restaurant was in need of some tender loving care. Tge corner aboveour table had a huge black widow web with flies trapped in it. Tgat was a definite turn off, especially when paying top dollarfor a mediocre breakfast. Service was ok, not the best but certainly not the worst. Just a bit if a disappointment for usbased on our previous great experiences and meals we've had there in the past. We took a stroll around the gardens and millhouse which was lovely. Giving it 4 stars because of their fruit spread/jam otherwise it'd get 3 stars. Read more

This place used to be amazing great food and great atmosphere, unfortunately the new owners have slashed the hours, the staff... and destroyed the atmosphere. I hope they restore it before it?s too late. Staff was amazi the bakery was delicious. I was ableto go back and the menu has drastically changed, the server was over worked and had no time for pleasantries. They were out ofthe country fried steak, they only have 9 breakfast items and they were out of one. I miss the preserves, the old menu, theatmosphere. The bakery has hints of their ability to still make the dishes they used to be known for but very minimal the pecanbread pudding was amazing. Read more

One word, delicious!! The tomato basil omlette was recommended. The robust flavor of basil awakened my senses. The raspberry... jam that was made that morning was perfectly paired with the sourdough toast and fresh brewed coffee. What a delightful way tobegin a Sunday Morning. The service from our waitress Abby was over the top. I truly hope this restraunt makes it through thecontinuing struggles of the current events. The core staff has been working hard to carry on. I also hope the priveledgedpublic doesn't judge to harshly. All this and still serving food fit for the gods. If you are looking for a greasy spoon thisis not the place. Read more

Given that they're just recovering from the pandemic, I could only give then 2 stars just because their temporary menu... (hopefully temporary) isn't like their old menu. I miss their scones and muffins that normally come with their meals withblackberry jam! You now order up front, take a number, then sit where you want. They were out of their green chili omelets. So Ijust went with boring pancakes. If you want water, you can get up and get it yourself. And they bring the food to you. I'd stillgo back in hopes that they'll soon recover from what's been going on these last couple years. They're still trying to hireemployees. I think I only saw two girls working really hard. So it must be hard to keep this business running. I'd like to givethem 5 stars but it's not really up to par with how they used to be. Best of luck apple farm inn... Read more

This is a beautiful venue with an excellent eating experience, but their current COVID procedures are significantly less than... desirable. It was still very tasty food, though! Read more

We came to Apple Farm Restaurant for the nostalgia factor. We used to stop here on trips to San Francisco years ago and it was... the highlight of the trip. Not so much this time. The menu is much smaller than it was back then and the prices do not reflectthe quality and quantity of the food. I will say that the blue/blackberry preserves were quite tasty, as was the bacon. For $18,I got two eggs, two slices of bacon, one slice of toast, and a small amount of potatoes. My mother ordered a two item omelette($14) that came with three eggs, two items (bacon and tomatoes) and a small amount of potatoes. No toast. There's a self-servicecoffee station for $3. Want water? Not included. You order your food at the front and take a number to your table. The food isbrought to you there but the servers do not come back. Between the two of us, our total was $46 for breakfast. We had our mealsand each of us had coffee. That's it. Our meal at a different restaurant yesterday was about half of that cost and we had somuch more food. We were very disappointed. Two stars for the coffee (it was really good) and the flavor of the bacon, andblue/blackberry preserves. Read more
