Our visit to El Pollo Loco was very disappointing. They ran out of cooked chicken at 4:45pm. WHAT? We waited for 45 mins until... our order was filled. We took it home to eat. The chicken pieces were very small, plus there were only 7 pieces instead of 8.Yeah, they gave us an extra side for waiting so long. Big deal. I would not and cannot reccomend this El Pollo Loco to anyone!They need to get their act together!! Read more

Chicken pieces were small and dry. The chopped chicken for salad was not fresh. The cashier seemed put off that we did not... rattle off our order in 3 seconds. With almost a sour face and put out that we asked questions about menu. She tried zero % toput energy or enthusiasm into customer servicing us. Read more
Food was tasty, but this is literally the smallest burrito I?ve ever had. $10 for the pleasure.
Oct 18 update: Clean, great service, and tasty chicken! Old review: Homeless person using drink bar as her kitchen. Where's the... staff? Oh here's someone - but he's apologizing for making her feel hurried. He's just waiting to fill his employee drink cup. Isuppose he could have cleaned the counter while there. They open fairly early at 10 am which is great. I think they should get an open sign or do something about the appearance from... the outside of the restaurant. It is difficult to tell whether or not they are open. Once inside though, the restaurant isreally clean. The staff I talked to were very friendly. The food was better than I had expected, but nothing too special. Iordered a Ranchero Burrito, they got it out in a couple minutes which was great. I grabbed their avocado salsa and salsa rojoto add. The burrito itself was super fresh, the cabbage makes a nice touch. Not too much flavor in it though. That beingsaid, I'd get this over Chipotle anyday! With the added punch of the avocado salsa in particular it was quite good. Overall apleasant experience, but they need to do something about the lighting inside and out, it looks and feels dark and closed even ona bright sunny day. Read more
