I've never written a review before but just was in Jersey Mike's in SLO. After they made 15 other sandwiches while ignoring... everyone in line, I finally ordered my sandwich. I said Mike's Way with a little Mayo and jalapeño. She put some lettuce,jalapeño and Mayo on there. I said I wanted it Mike's Way with jalapeño and Mayo. She told me aggressively that's not what Isaid with a huff and slammed my sandwich down . That's exactly what I said - maybe it's not what you heard. Never been treatedthat way. It was ridiculous. Jersey Mike's has some pretty good Philly cheese steaks that's all I get when I stop by.
Jersey Mike's is essentially an inefficient version of an overpriced subway. I've only been able to order online while at home... because every time I go in I'm in an empty line waiting for 10 minutes without even having my order taken. Slicing processedmeat in front of the customer and charging twice the price for the sandwich seems a little ridiculous to me especially when itcomes to the steak that is the exact same pre packaged junk subway serves. If subway sandwiches were scored a 25/100 jerseyMike's would be a 27 maybe 28/100. If you are going to spend 15+ you might as well support a local sandwich shop and pay thesame if not less and get a WAY WAY better sandwich. Not even going to consider ordering from home anymore. Delicious chain sub shop. Infinitely better than Subway, and all the ingredients seen very fresh. Love the vinegar dressing they... use, and always good flavor. Read more
Do not order online! I eat here regularly and the employees are good and the sandwiches are good. However, ordering online is... one of the worst punishments you could ask for. I normally walk in to order and see the people who ordered online having to waitmuch longer. Yesterday, I order online and by the time I got my sandwich in hand it had been 1 hour since I had received myemail order confirmation. Most people don't have that much time to wait when they are on their lunch break. Read more
This was my first time trying their sandwiches and I was really impressed. However, I ordered my sandwich at 12:35pm. I went to... the location and I was shocked to see, 9 people in line, 5 tickets to be prepared and at least 5 subs being worked on and ONLYTWO STAFF MEMBERS. I felt horrible for them. One girl looked like she was about to cry. They were trying to do the best theycould, but waiting 40 minutes for a sub is unacceptable ( I was handed my sub at 1:13 pm). Please hire more help. WOW. That's all I can say about the food and service at this place. Not only was the food , hot , delicious and high-quality ,... but the service was truly fast and exceptional. The attitude of the entire the crew was right on from start to finish that mademy experience very pleasant, hospitable and comfortable. The manager surprised me by bringing the food hot and ready to mepersonally while I was expecting my name to be to be called to the pick up window. Kudos Manager scott! Good job. Read more
Maybe clean the meat slicer more instead of cross contaminate dairy and meat. That thing is disgusting. And you just keep... slicing on it with hours old food all over it. Read more
