I have always preferred this restaurant because of the good food, but I have had some mishaps regarding the service, which a... dish is requested and unfortunately on some occasions they have brought me something different. Likewise, the issue of theschedule has been fatal, which mentions that the closing time is at 9:00 pm, but I have entered long before this time like 8:20and they mention that the kitchen just close with at least 20-30 people seated in the dinning area. This is frustrating to saythe least, I mean we don?t need to drive to that side of town to be turned away?. Read more
We really enjoyed Milestone Tavern brunch today. The food was hot, fresh, tasted great and very reasonable prices as well. It... was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful Sunday afternoon weather in SLO. We will be back! We have been back a fewtimes and everything has been fine, but today the service was SO slow and our server was just doing the bare basics. We had toask to get a drink refill, waited long periods of time for him to get items, etc. Read more
Really great restaurant, and perfect for a bar/more American food. Amazing selection of burgers and pizzas too, and wait staff... are all excellent. I would also suggest this if you are in a larger group, as they have an entire room with a projector for somesports games and plenty of tables they can move together. Highly recommend! Read more
Indoor and patio seating. Great daily specials. Clean tavern. Nice staff. A+ Size portions. Nice beer menu. Try the calzones.
We went with high hopes following a Cal Poly graduation. Unfortunately, those hopes were dashed when the food took very long to... come out, (35-48 minutes), and then had numerous issues: A ribeye steak that was ordered rare came out medium well. Two of theburgers ordered at our table came out 12 minutes after the first plate was put down. Finally, a pizza that was ordered longbefore the table next to us was delivered 5 minutes after that table received their order. The worst thing is, when I politelybrought this to the manager's attention, he offered no relief and no apology, just an excuse, (they were busier than expected),as to why our food was poorly prepared and delivered so late. I felt bad for our server and food runner, they were clearly notsupported by the kitchen staff or their management. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the effort that theservers made. The cutlet in the burger turned out to be dry, and the bacon was generally burnt. In good establishments, waiters ask about... roasting cutlets. The interior is not bad. Read more
Very cool place to come for happy hour. Had the Milestone Burger with fries. Real good. Big beer selection and other alcohol... drinks. Service was quick. Soothing atmosphere. Lots of TVs for sport fans. Courteous hostess and waitress. Enjoyed themeal. Read more
We come here frequently with roommates for the decent prices and big portions. Burgers and sandwiches are great and always made... just how you want them to be. You'll get exactly what you think of when you think of Classic American. They also have a varietyof cocktails, beers, etc. Plenty of inside and outside seating and at the bar.
