I have never been here before, I went in Friday and got the chefs salad and omg was it delicious! Everything was so fresh the... romaine lettuce, ham turkey two different cheeses, sliced banana peppers, tomatos, cucumbers, onions croutons and I got ThousandIsland dressing which was homemade with a little kick! Mr. Pickles is on the higher end of the pricing scale, and for the money I'd prefer someplace like Ike's Love and Sandwiches.... They weren't bad, but there are better and cheaper options out there. Service was friendly, and I appreciated the freechocolate chip cookie that came with the sandwich. *We were camping in the area when I tried them and I spent most of the nightfighting a bout of nausea, so admittedly my review may be a little prejudiced. While I was eating the big Jake, I gave it a 5.. but now as I think back, I believe a 4 is more deserving. The wheat bread was... good. I like the banana peppers they put in, it added a lot of extra flavor. There was cream cheese AND mayo; which I regretanswering yes to "everything?" I think I would have taken out the mayo, personally. I got the whole, didn't finish it, saved therest, had it for dinner... and it wasn't that great. I dont know what I was expecting though, for a 3-4 hour old sandwich. Thinknext time I'd be better with a half. Would love to go back and try something else. The sandwich I had was good. Unfortunately, this is a place for someone who has never had a sandwich before and doesn't know any better. They heat their hot... sandwiches in a microwave that severely destroys the meat and bread. Most depressing sandwich place I had the displeasure ofeating. Had the hot "t" on a dutch crunch and was excited about their selection of bread, but after tossing it in the microwavemade the bread too hard to bite into. The only reason why I tipped them is that I understand how difficult the food industry ishaving worked on it myself, but heating in a microwave is just horrifying if you are also claiming to cater gourmetsandwiches...
