Had a wonderful experience at this recently Michelin recognized establishment. Reasonably priced wine and food, the food was... exquisite. Fairly large portions, probably even enough to share if you?re not super hungry. Check it out when you?re in SLOnext. Read more

Food was good (not great). Salad needed perhaps some goats cheese to accent. Shrimp salad had large, delicious shrimp, but could... have used more layers to the sauce. Drinks were perfect. Cute place, glad to see families with young (and well behaved) kids. Read more

Not often are we surprised by a dinner, but Nate's on Marsh was outstanding. We had reservations and were seated on time. We had... ordered cocktails prior to seating and were delivered to our table. Michael was such a joy to provide our entertainment andservice for the evening. Very professional. Nate greeted us and we had such an amazing conversation with him. The vibe is cool, but comfortable, excellent food choices and quality. Price is reasonable. The wine selection is awesome, good boutique wines. Wewill be back and highly recommend to friends!! Nate's combines fine-dining, a fantastic (albeit small) bar, and a cozy atmosphere that's makes you feel like you've discovered... a hidden gem. Located in a charming old converted house, the quaint decor is part of the appeal. Food is very good, albeit justa tad pricey. Service is excellent. Dress on the nicer side of casual (jeans and a blazer or nice top) on up to semi formal, and you'll feel appropriate to the setting. Reservations are a good idea, though not required. Will definitely come again, evenif just to visit the bar (this place draws a very attractive crowd). Read more

This was such a great experience after a full day of driving down Big Sur. We enjoyed the creative drinks and delicious wine... with the grilled octopus appetizer. We also were so shocked that the pasta was all handmade, truly so fresh and delicious. Ourserver was also very helpful, attentive and perfectly paced. Couldn't recommend it more! The interior is beautifully designed,I loved all the green everywhere- definitely instagrammable. Every single person's meal was delicious here, so there's reallynot one I can point out above the rest. Our table of four split a caesar salad, and it was the perfect amount and light freshstarter to the experience. Read more

I've visited Nate's 4 times now and feel a review is due. 3 of the 4 visits were just walk-in and had short waits for a table. ... The bar has about 6 seats but the walkway doubles as a corridor for servers so the area can get sort of jammed up. This is nota slight, but a heads up to expect it. On our 4th visit we actually had a reservation, but ended up waiting 35 minutes for ourtable but enjoyed a bottle of wine at the bar. Our food items each time have delicious and well prepared. Some of them I'veliked more than others, but I'm still making my way through the menu. My favorite appetizer so far has been the large ravioli. I believe it was a special. Also, the wine list is pretty big and there's lots to choose from! The menus are online if youwant to get a sense of what they're currently offering. Pricing is there as well. Definitely visiting again. Read more
