Had a great time visiting my son in Slo, CA. We decided to take my daughter out for an early birthday dinner. We tried two... restaurants and there was a 2 hour wait time ???????????. We tried Olive Garden...best decision ever. Love the staff. Out serverwas Jarred (shout out to Jarred) ???????? Everyone was super friendly. Not crowded and we left out with full bellies. The server “Lily” is d’bomb. I go with my family of 4 boys who LOVE the all you can eat soup and salad and so every... server has a nightmare when we come in but not LILY! She was THE BEST! Every aspect of her service was phenomenal! Itdoesn’t seem like much to people who don’t break down the many small things and considerations of how differently peoplewant their food served and she was “ON IT”. Olive Garden food is consistent, but this location has a super star server that made our experience really exceptional! My 14... year old son is starting to express himself more in the adult world and I have to say, Jarred was super responsive. My son wasasking questions and Jarred had amazing suggestions and got my son to try some new foods (that he ended up totally loving!) Heloves the pasta and bean soup but now has a close second favorite with the Italian sausage soup. He loved the entree Jarredsuggested, it's his new go-to order! I liked my food as well but i did just order my classic favorites (chicken gnocchi soup andstuffed shells.) I did try the apple sangria, I'll go back to the berry one next time. I’ve eaten here a few times, the people that helped us where very nice. Unfortunately i can not give five stars for a couple... reasons, one the bathroom was not clean enough for me to feel good about using it, the sink was okay the problem was thetoilets. The second reason is the food could be better but I will explain, I had the fried mozzarella as an appetizer withsalad, bread sticks and chicken gnocchi soup. I liked all of it, it wasn’t the best thing ever but it was really good and Iwould get it again. For the main I had the Chicken Margherita and my husband had the tour of Italy. He really liked his food, Itried a bite of his chicken parmigiana and I liked it better than my chicken, I was expecting a little more flavor for me it wasa little under seasoned. It said it has a lemon garlic sauce but it didn’t seem like it, It was good but I will try somethingdifferent next time. The dessert was the chocolate brownie lasagna. I had such a good dinner with my girlfriend just a few days ago! The waiter who served us made the experience so much better... with his charismatic charm! He was also well spoken and described the menu options for certain things really well. If I had aguarantee option of getting him as a waiter I would definitely go again.
