Popolo Catering was amazing to use and work with. Tasha was extremely responsive and helpful. We received nothing but positive... feedback on the food. We opted for the buffet style with two entree options and fixed sides/salad/bread options. We have alreadyrecommended their services to other friends for their services. Chef Michael and the staff that worked our wedding did a phenomenaljob and provided outstanding service to us and our guests. From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, the name that everyone was telling us for a catering company was... Popolo. We couldn't be happier that we went with them. They were very accommodating during menu selection which was greatconsidering how picky my wife and I can be! My husband and I were lucky enough to book Popolo Catering for our June 2022 wedding. We moved from the Central Coast to the Bay... Area about 7 years ago, but when we got engaged I knew I wanted to be married in the place I had called home for more than 30years. Most of our wedding guests came from out of state and I wanted to share a taste of the Central Coast with them. Popolo'shit it out of the park with Santa Maria style tri-tip, roasted chicken, strawberry salad, grilled veggies, potatoes au gratin,and French bread. They were even kind enough to make us doggie bags for when we got back to our hotel (which was veryappreciated)! The Popolo staff was professional, attentive and courteous. The buffet and pass hors d'oeuvres were displayedbeautifully. We are so grateful to Kat and Leon and the entire Popolo team for a delicious and memorable wedding weekend!! Read more
Popolo was my favorite vendor and the best choice we could have made for our big day. Not only are they at such a reasonable... price point that it almost sounds made up.... but the food quality and service is one you would get with only the highest-endcaterers. It's been a month since we've been married and everyone talks about how great the food was! Popolo was so responsiveand helpful throughout the whole process and made it very easy on us. Couldn’t ask for better in laws! Since day one 9 years ago I’ve loved the food, and staff at Popolo. I love being a part of... this family and it’s business! I’ve watched it grow so much in the nine years I’ve been around. Leon and Kat have thebiggest hearts and have built this awesome reputation that they have. Popolo was an absolute lifeline when our original caterer for our wedding fell through. Leon and Kat were a complete delight... during our tasting, they truly care about every aspect of what they do! They were wonderful to work with as we went back andforth and back and forth indecisively over our menu (it was so hard to narrow down, everything they make is so good!) and on theday they were absolutely perfect! The table setup looked amazing, the entire staff was warm and outstanding, and the bartendersabsolutely killed it with our signature cocktails! We were originally so worried when our first caterer fell through but withPopolo it turned out to be a blessing in disguise a thousand fold. We're still getting our guests reaching out to us to tell ushow much they loved our food (and I still dream about the brisket). We can't think of anyone else we would have rather had serveus our first meal as husband and wife - and I truly cannot recommend Popolo Catering highly enough.
