Wow what an excellent find off the 101 fwy! We enjoyed the room (508) with private mineral spring hot tub, we had some of the... best massages ??????? at the spa, enjoyed the restaurant & secret garden area... good live music! Helpful, friendly staff & goodroom service. Rent the bikes for a moderate trail ride to the beach & back. Avila Beach is worth staying 2-3 nites. Beautifularea to explore. We had breakfast there. My husband liked his burger, kids liked Ed pancakes and chicken. My Benedict’s were hard set, not... Benedict’s at all…. Ambiance was good with a bit of a sulfur touch. Read more

Super cute place to pop off the Bobs Jones trail.

A great spot to stop and have a drink and snack off the Bob Jones trail. We did a bike ride to Avila Beach to Avila Valley Barn... and on our way back stopped here for a cheese plate and champagne. They have a great menu...this secret garden is a gem. Theyonly reason I wouldn\'t give a 5 star is they have portable potties that were not really maintained but besides that, totallyworth stopping. What a lovely , calming place to stop at after riding the Bob Jones Trail Head . The food was fresh, delicious and the portions... were filling. They had beer on tap and the pour was generous. They had a bean bag toss as well as a couple of other things to doif you wanted to. It’s a nice little “Secret”’ to visit . Read more
