What a awesome venue. Great place to support because of the awesome food and environment but also because the support the... community. We had a dine out for one of our San Marcos elementary schools here last night and it was amazing. The owner camearound and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and had everything they wanted. The server was also really great. He wasable to handle all the chaos of kids running around and still have a great and fun attitude. A new family favorite. Thank youInland Tavern. Read more

Went for the after lunch time and it was perfect. Had an awesome Modern Times cold beer with the "Cardiff Crack" Tri-tip... Sandwich and friend had the Quinoa Salad. Been 3 times and food has been excellent each time! Penny Lane was one of favorites, glad this is a still a good spot.
First of all menus and benches were dirty and sticky. Flooring made the place look like a bar than a Tavern. Food was ok.
